The equivalent of this service bulletin has been incorporated on airplanes -0151 and -0158.
REASON
It is possible that the ID sleeve for the nose wheel steering cables can slide down the cable and become
wedged in the pulley.
DESCRIPTION
This service letter provides instructions to inspect for and remove the cable ID sleeve.
COMPLIANCE
RECOMMENDED. This service letter should be accomplished at a scheduled maintenance period or
inspection.

Eligibility:
Affected airplanes that were still within the Cessna Five-year/5,000 hour airframe warranty
period on the original issue date of this service letter.

may submit a Credit Claim Form for the parts kit(s) required for accomplishment of this
service letter, provided the work is completed and the claim submitted by the expiration
date shown below.
Labor:
Authorized Citation Service Facilities may submit a Credit Claim Form for accomplishment
of this service letter, on eligible airplanes, provided the work is completed and the claim
submitted by the expiration date shown below.

ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Prepare the airplane for maintenance.
A.
Make sure that the airplane is electrically grounded.
B.
Make sure that all switches are in the OFF/NORM position.
C.
Disconnect electrical power from the airplane.
D.
(1)
Disconnect the airplane batteries.
(2)
Disconnect external electrical power.
Attach maintenance warning tags to the batteries and external power receptacle that have "DO NOT
CONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER - MAINTENANCE IN PROGRESS" written on them.
2.
Remove the crew seats. (Refer to the Model 750 Maintenance Manual, Chapter 25, Crew and Cabin
Seats - Inspection/Check.)
3.
(Refer to Figure 1, Sheets 1 and 2.) Do an inspection for the heat shrinkable cable ID sleeves on the left
and right steering cables from the lower turnbuckle end to where the cable passes through the floorboard.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove ID sleeves located above the turnbuckle.
A.
If the ID sleeves are accessible above the floorboards. Remove the ID sleeves and go to Step 10.
B.
If the ID sleeves are not accessible above the floorboards. Go to Step 4.
4.
Remove the left and right forward footwarmer duct. (Refer to the Model 750 Maintenance Manual,
Chapter 21, Cockpit Warm Air distribution - Maintenance Practices.)
5.
Remove the two center floorboard panels 141CTC and 141ATC (center panels in front of pedestal).
(Refer to the Model 750 Maintenance Manual, Chapter 6, Access Plates and Panels Identification Description and Operation.)
6.
(Airplanes -0001 thru -0154.) (Refer to Figure 1, Sheet 1.) Do an inspection for the heat shrinkable cable
ID sleeves on the left and right cables from the lower turnbuckle end through the pulleys of the mixer box
assembly to the forward pressure bulkhead and remove the heat shrinkable cable ID sleeves.
NOTE: It is possible that the cable ID sleeves were removed during previous inspections. If after
inspecting the cables and you do not find an ID sleeve, record in the maintenance log that no ID
sleeve was found and record what cable did or did not have an ID sleeve. There is not a need to
report the findings to Cessna Aircraft Company.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove ID sleeves located above the turnbuckle.
7.
(Airplanes -0155 thru -0313.) (Refer to Figure 1, Sheet 2.) Do an inspection for the heat shrinkable cable
ID sleeves on the left and right cables from the lower turnbuckle end through the pulleys of the mixer box
assembly to the forward pressure bulkhead and remove the heat shrinkable cable ID sleeves.
NOTE: It is possible that the cable ID sleeves were removed during previous inspections. If after
inspecting the cables and you do not find an ID sleeve, record in the maintenance log that no ID
sleeve was found and record what cable did or did not have an ID sleeve. There is not a need to
report the findings to Cessna Aircraft Company.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove ID sleeves located above the turnbuckle.
8.
Install floor board access panels 141CTC and 141ATC. (Refer to the Model 750 Maintenance Manual,
Chapter 6, Access Plates and Panels Identification - Description and Operation.)
9.
Install the left and right forward footwarmer duct. (Refer to the Model 750 Maintenance Manual, Chapter
21, Cockpit Warm Air distribution - Maintenance Practices.)
10.
Install the crew seats. (Refer to the Model 750 Maintenance Manual, Chapter 25, Crew and Cabin
Seats - Inspection/check.)
11.
Remove the maintenance warning tags and connect the airplane batteries.

12.
Record that this service letter has been completed.
A.
Complete a Maintenance Transaction Report.
B.
Put a copy of the completed Maintenance Transaction Report in the airplane logbook.
C.
Send a copy of the completed Maintenance Transaction Report to: Camp Systems International
Inc., 8201 East 34th Street North, Building 1100 Suite 1101 Wichita, KS 67226.
