DISPENSER COVER:
The dispenser cover controls a power interlock
switch in the dispenser. In the closed position, the
cover actuates the interlock switch and connects
battery power to the dispenser’s control circuit.
Opening the cover opens the interlock switch and
removes the battery power from the dispenser’s
control circuit.
LOADING THE FIRST ROLL:
• Paper is to be loaded with the paper “tail”
unwinding from the back of the roll.
• The first sheet of paper is started by
placing the “tail” under the top transfer
bar arm.
• Close the cover and initiate a dispense.
BATTERY REQUIREMENTS:
Open the dispenser cover.
The battery
compartment is located at the front lip of the
dispenser. The cover to the battery compartment
is removed by pushing the left-hand tab inward
and lifting up. Insert (4) “D” size alkaline batteries
labeled with an “LR20” designation. Other types
of batteries are not acceptable. Install batteries
as indicated in the battery compartment.
STUB ROLL FEATURE:
Step 1:
• Remove the stub roll from the roll arms
and place it in the cavity below.
• Slide the paper out from the transfer
bar arm and place it under the entire
transfer bar arm assembly.
CONTROL SETTINGS:
There are three, 3-position switches available
to customize the control system located on the
right, inside corner of the dispenser.
Step 2:
• Load the new roll as described in
“Loading The First Roll” - placing the
tail under the top transfer bar arm.
IF UNIT WILL NOT DISPENSE:
1. Insure the cover is closed and securely latched.
2. If indicator light is flashing, batteries need replacement.
3. If light is not flashing, make sure batteries are loaded correctly.
INDICATOR LIGHT FUNCTION:
The LED light will flash once after the cover is
closed and after every dispense. It will flash
once every 1.5 seconds continuously when the
batteries need replacement.

D REHLE P APER D ISPENSERS
There are three main types of walls on which paper towel and toilet tissue dispensers will normally be placed: Sheetrock
(drywall), sheet metal (bathroom stalls) and concrete. The following instructions will help in deciding what types of hardware
will be necessary and explain the hanging procedure.
Drywall: Use drywall-hanging anchors qualified for at least 50 pounds of support to securely hang dispensers. These can
be purchased at any hardware store. When ready to hang the dispenser, use a pencil to mark where the anchors will be
placed by either holding the Centerpull towel dispenser hanging bracket or the toilet tissue dispenser against the wall and
marking 4 spots at each corner hole on the bracket or dispenser. Then remove the bracket or dispenser, place the plastic
portion of the hanging anchor against the spots and tap the point of the anchor through the wall. Then use a hammer to
gently install the anchor completely into the wall until its face is flush with the surface of the wall. Repeat this for every
anchor. Then place the dispenser or mounting bracket against the wall and screw it on with the screws provided with the
anchors until it is firmly placed on the wall.
Sheet Metal (Bathroom stalls): Use 3/8” self-tapping sheet metal screws with a drill to hang dispensers. Simply place
the hanging bracket or toilet tissue against the sheet metal, place a self-tapping screw on the drill, place the screw in the
desired position, and screw the dispenser onto the wall until it is firmly in place. This is the simplest of placements and
typically will take very little time.
Concrete (Tile or Concrete Block): Use concrete hanging anchors to place dispensers. As with sheetrock, make marks
where you will be hanging the dispenser by placing the hanging bracket or toilet tissue dispenser against the wall and
marking each corner position with a pencil. Next, using the drill bit typically contained in the set of anchors, drill a hole in
each position deep enough for the plastic anchor to fit into until the anchor is flush against the face of the wall. Next, place
the hanging bracket or toilet tissue dispenser in place and screw the screws provided in the anchor kit into the anchors using
either a screwdriver or drill. Finally, tighten the screws until the dispenser or bracket is firmly in place against the wall.
These instructions should apply to almost every situation you will encounter. Remember, although this may be somewhat
time consuming, doing it right the first time will save you from having a complaining customer forcing you to return to their
location to hang their dispensers again!
INSTALLATION TIPS • Keep costs down by coordinating your drill usage only on route days with tile, brick, metal stall installations.
• Know the type of wall you will be installing on before you get there.
• Drywall anchor holes can be made with a hole punch or Phillips screwdriver.
HELPFUL HINTS • Start a collection of other dispenser keys that you replace (for future use).
• If you leave keys, put on a keyring and leave several sets. This will save you an emergency trip on a Friday afternoon if
a customer misplaces the keys.
• Put tissue dispensers above handicapped rail.
• Take several types of screw and nut drivers for removal of old equipment – this will save you a lot of time.
