fabrication. Other sidewall framing includes heavy gauge extruded side rails and tubular
aluminum corner posts for added strength. Outside skin panels are of a minimum 0.060"
smooth aluminum skin with stainless steel rivets around the skin panel perimeter for added
strength, where required by loads. Skin panels are attached to wall ribs with VHB adhesive
tape designed for this purpose.
Roof framing has arched roof bows or rectangular aluminum tubing to form the roof structure.
Roof drip edges are made using an aluminum extrusion rail with channel type recess for
added strength and water entry protection. Primary roof cover material consists of a
continuous sheet of 0.040" aluminum stretched edge to edge without break (except for quadsealed maintenance access panels where required). The roof sheets are bonded to the roof
structure with VHB adhesive tape designed for this purpose. The roof is NOT designed to
support a person and thus roof access is not provided.
2.2.2 Expandable Side Wall Section (Sized as per drawings)
The expanding sidewall is manufactured using heavy gauge aluminum sections, outlined with
a custom fabricated aluminum frame system. This is a box-in-box design to allow for the
drop down service floor. Seams will be smoothed and filled to provide as smooth and even
surface as possible while maintaining adequate strength. The expansion operating
mechanism is a standard 12 v electrically operated slide assembly. Complete rubber and
neoprene weather stripping is provided around the full perimeter of the expansion frame. The
expansion system will have double sliding windows for customer face-to-face interaction and
designed so two people can work independently. The walk down stair will be covered in nonslip coating with a recessed cash register alcove.
