Safe Working Procedure Note
Introduction
The Jangro Proficiency Manual includes 39
Safe Working Procedure Notes that provide
step-by-step instruction and guidance into
the main duties that cleaning operatives
would normally be expected to carry out and
to assist in acquiring the basic skills necessary
for any section of the Cleaning Industry.
The information is presented in a manner
which will allow ease of learning and draws
attention to particular areas of concern, e.g.
Health & Safety, with our handy “Safety First
Section” together with suggestions for
appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
which should be worn for each task. The
manual also recommends the most suitable
Jangro Product for each task from the current
Jangro Catalogue.
The contents of the manual if communicated
correctly to cleaning operatives will satisfy
Health & Safety Requirements for Safe
Systems of Work and together with many of
the other Jangro Health & Safety Resource
materials will help to create a safer
environment.
For more detailed information regarding any
cleaning task or problem which my be
encountered when cleaning you may wish to
source the Jangro “Training for Results
Resource Pack”. The pack is aimed at
providing managers and supervisors with a
comprehensive manual that can be used in
conjunction with the video presentation as
part of a training course and also doubles up
as an employee handbook and resource pack.
The pack also contains a comprehensive
Health and Safety Best Practice Guidance
Booklet, which provides straightforward,
practical guidance on developing and
improving safe working practices within your
own organisation.
As well as meeting our statutory requirement
to provide all our customers with Safety Data
Sheets for all products, Jangro has also
developed generic COSHH Risk Assessments
for each product which are now also available
as part of the Resource Pack.
