INSTALLATION
1.
Determine a location to install your LED floodlight.
2.
Ensure that the mains electrical supply is switched off before any installation work begins. If required remove the circuit fuse or MCB.

Angle the floodlight as required and fix into place.
Lighting Range
PIR SENSOR
General information
• Do not obstruct the PIR sensor
• Surfaces that reflect light (high visibility workwear etc.) can cause the PIR sensor to behave erratically
• Ensure the area you want the sensor to work in is free of objects that may move, such objects may trip the sensor.
• Do not attempt to open or tamper with the sensor housing
Over ride feature
If you require the light to remain illuminated you can over ride the PIR sensor. To do this, switch off the power to the unit for 3 seconds and then switch back on. The light will now remain on. To disable this function, turn the unit off again for 20 seconds and then turn back on. THe unit will now function as normal.
SENS
This option adjusts the sensitivity of the PIR sensor. If for example the light is switching on when people are walking by your property then you would reduce this, if you have a wide area you want to cover then the sensor will need to be increased. (This setting does not generally need to be adjusted)
TIME
Adjusts the amount of time that the light remains switched on after the sensor detects movement.
* Min 5 seconds (+/- 1 sec) Max 6 mins (+/- 1 min)
LUX
Determines the amount of ambient light required for the sensor to become active. The Maximum setting will make the light switch on at all times of the day. The Minimum setting will cause the unit to only work at night time.
Setup
* Please note- Each installation of this sensor light will have several variables (area of coverage, obstacles etc.) meaning there is no defined setup process, a method of trial and error will be required on the part of the user.
•
Point the sensor in the general direction you require it to cover
(see image below for clarification). Please note that the angle of the PIR can affect the detection range.
•
•
Adjust the SENS, TIME, LUX to the desired settings, ideally this should be performed at the approximate time of day you will require the unit to become active.
The unit may need to be periodically adjusted to account for seasonal changes in light.
