Recommended Assembly/Disassembly Instructions
This is Ritchey's recommended assembly and disassembly procedures. You may find a sequence
that you are more comfortable with. To ensure your safety, it is your responsibility to verify the
bike has been properly assembled, adjusted, and is in proper working order before riding.
CAUTION: User should periodically check and tighten the two set screws on each
cable connector to ensure they are tight. Also ensure cable connectors are tight.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
A
STEP 1: (Figure A)
Align front and rear frame se c t i o n s a n d i n s e r t
seatpo st keeping bolts loose .
STEP 2: (Figure B)
Align lower frame and loose l y i n s t a l l l o w e r c l a m p .
Do not use grease or oil on c l a m p .

STEP 5:
Install front brake caliper(If removed) and front wheel.
STEP 9:
Adjust headset and tighten stem bolts.
STEP 6:
Ti g h t e n l o w e r f r a m e c l a m p . M a k e s u r e c l a m p i s t i g h t ,
but does not bottom out (minimum .5mm gap)
STEP 10:
Adjust seatpost height.
STEP 7:
Ti g h t e n s e a t p o s t c l a m p b o l t s .
STEP 3:
Install rear wheel and tighte n r e a r b r a k e
quick-release.
S T E P 11 :
Install pedals and/or crank arm if removed.
STEP 12:
F i n a l c h e c k o v e r, b e s u r e a l l b o l t s a r e t i g h t e n e d
p r o p e r l y a n d t h a t a l l c a b l e s a r e a s s e m b l e d c o r r e c t l y.
Te s t b r a k e s b e f o r e r i d i n g .
STEP 8: (Figure C)
Assemble quick connect cables.
STEP 4:
Install stem/bar assembly an d t o p c a p

STEP 1: (Optional)
Remove pedals and/or left c r a n k a r m
STEP 4:
Loosen stem bolts and remove top cap.
STEP 2: (Figure D)
Disconnect cables using qui c k c o n n e c t f i t t i n g s
STEP 5:
R e m o v e s t e m / b a r a s s e m b l y.
( O p t i o n a l ) : L o o s e n a n d r e m o v e f r o n t b r a k e c a l i p e r.
STEP 3: (Figure E)
Loosen seatpost clamp bolts a n d l o w e r c l a m p b o l t ,
but do not remove.
STEP 6:
Remove front wheel.

Loosen rear brake caliper quick release and remove
rear wheel.
STEP 8:
Remove seatpost.
STEP 9: (Figure F)
R e m o v e l o w e r c l a m p a n d s e p a r a t e f r am e .
