Engine
Universal M25 3 cylinder diesel located under port settee.
Dipstick
On the Starboard side of engine, low, under air intake.
NOTE: After checking oil level be sure that the dipstick is fully seated in its tube!
Engine Hour Meter Next to step in companionway, port
Fuel Gauge Aft cabin, forward under cushion.

Push button on cockpit control panel
Ignition key, turn to right and hold for at least 30 seconds.
Helm, starboard side, forward for 50% to start.
Shift
Helm, port side: Forward for forward, back for reverse.
SHIFT AT IDLE SPEEDS ONLY!!
Engine Starting

Stop Engine
Disconnect shore power.
1. Turn on House Battery switch to “Both” and turn Engine Start Battery on so that arrow points down.
2. Make sure “Shift” lever is in neutral.
3. Advance “Throttle” lever 50%.
4. Turn ignition key to on position.
5. Turn ignition key all the way to right (operates glow switch) and hold in for a full
30 seconds before pushing start button.
6. Push Start Button and let engine warm up a couple minutes if engine is cold.
Before dropping dock lines run through shifting and throttle advance until comfortable.
Right (Backs to the left)
Engine control panel: Black knob, pull out to stop engine. After engine has stopped, push knob back in then turn key to off position.

Electrical
Battery Switches
• House Battery Switch: Above chart table on electrical panel.
• Engine Battery Switch: On the right aft side of side of electrical panel above chart table: arrow up is off, down is on.
• Engine Backup Switch: Navigation station, inside cabinet with louvered door.
Switch is on the upper right side. This switch should be left in the off position at all other times to prevent drain on the start battery.
Never Turn Any Battery Switch Off While Engine Is Running!

• House Bank: Located in the bottom of the chart table cabinet and the aft lazarette.
• Engine Start Battery: Located under the aft cabin berth next to the fuel tank.
• Electrical Panel: Above chart table.
Sails
Jib
Main
On a roller furling, the take up line leads aft along the port side. The jib halyard leads to the port side of the companion way and locks on the outside cleat.
The halyard leads to the Starboard side of the companionway and locks on the outside cleat. The sheet locks on the starboard side inside cleat. The topping lift cleat is located on the port side of the boom.

Fill fittings (2) located near the rail on the Starboard side just forward of the mast.
Tank location: Under the starboard settee (aft).
Tank holds: 30 gallons.
Fill fitting: Fill fitting outside the cockpit (port) aft of the waste discharge fitting.
Tank location: Under the aft cabin berth.
Tank holds: 18 gallons.
Do Not Leave Fuel Filler Nozzle Unattended When Fueling!
Toilet is electric flush, Push button in the head to operate. Water inlet through hull is accessed through the hatch low and forward in the head (smaller).
Waste Pump Out fitting: is located outside the cockpit (port) just forward of the diesel fuel fitting.
Tank Location: under the port settee (outside, forward)
To put toilet on overboard: open the large through hull accessed in the head forward of the water inlet through hull (parallel to the line is open). Turn the valve just forward of the holding tank to overboard (large part of the handle points forward).
Be sure to return this valve to holding tank (large part of handle pointing aft) and close the through hull when near shore or in a harbor or anchorage.
Access the macerator and macerator through hull under the port settee (aft, outside). Open the through hull and turn the breaker on the electrical panel on and press the button above the macerator. When finished close the through hull.
General Notes
• Manual Bilge Pump: Is located in the port lazarette and the pump handle fitting is located just outside the lazarette.
• Manual Bilge Pump Switch: Located on front outside of engine compartment, port side, under dinette.
• Automatic Bilge Pump Switch: Located on front outside of engine compartment.
• Icebox: Refrigerator, DC switch on the electrical panel.
• Stove: CNG, tank is located in the aft lazarette (high well aft).
• Water Heater: Operate when on shore power by turning the AC switch on the electrical panel on. Heater operates when the engine is running.
• Windlass: Manual. Operate with a winch handle.
