Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury. The possible hazards are shown in the adjoining symbols or explained in the text.
Wear safety glasses with side shields.
Arc rays can burn eyes and skin − wear a welding helmet with correct filter, and cover exposed skin with nonflammable clothing.
NOTICE Indicates statements not related to personal injury.
Welding sparks can cause fire or explosion. Move flammables away. Do not weld on closed tanks or barrels − they can explode. Clean tanks or barrels properly.
Indicates special instructions.
Beware of electric shock from welding electrode or wiring.
Touching the electrode while in contact with the work or ground can cause electric shock. Always wear dry gloves. Keep all panels and covers closed.
Breathing welding fumes and gases can harm your health. Welding requires good ventilation. If ventilation is impossible, such as when welding in a confined space, use an air-supplied respirator.

Specifications and Location
C
This unit is an interface control designed for use with a DIALARC ®
HF welding power source. This interface control provides a connection point for a remote contactor and amperage control device (not supplied) such as an FTC-23,
RFCS-23, or equivalent. The necessary interconnecting cords are supplied with this unit to connect it to the welding power source.
This control is equipped with two 6 ft. (1.8 m) cords for making connections to the welding power source control circuitry. Lead lengths must be considered when locating the control. The control can be placed on top of the welding power source or at a nearby location.
The service life and efficiency of the control are reduced when it is subjected to high levels of dust, dirt, moisture, corrosive vapors, and extreme heat.
