Gains from –13 to +14 with accuracy of 0.006% (60ppm) can be achieved using no external components. The LT1997-3 is particularly well suited for use as a difference amplifier, where the excellent resistor matching results in a common mode rejection ratio of greater than 91dB. The amplifier features a 60μV maximum input offset voltage and a –3dB bandwidth of 1.1MHz (Gain = 1). The LT1997-3 operates from any supply voltage from 3.3V to 50V and draws only 350μA supply current. The output typically swings to within 100mV of either supply rail. The resistors maintain their excellent matching over temperature; the matching temperature coefficient is guaranteed less than 1ppm/°C. The available shutdown mode has been optimized to minimize power consumption in duty-cycled applications and features low charge loss during power-up, reducing total system power. The LTC2063’s self-calibrating circuitry results in very low input offset (5µV max) and offset drift (0.02µV/°C). The maximum input bias current is only 20pA and does not exceed 100pA over the full specified temperature range. The extremely low input bias current of the LTC2063 allows the use of high value power-saving resistors in the feedback network. With its ultralow quiescent current and outstanding precision, the LTC2063 can serve as a signal chain building block in portable, energy harvesting and wireless sensor applications. The LTC4368 controls the gate voltage of a pair of external N-channel MOSFETs to ensure that the load is connected to the input supply only when there are no voltage or current faults. nn Two comparator inputs allow configuration of the overvoltage (OV) and undervoltage (UV) set points using an external resistive divider. A current sense resistor sets the forward and reverse circuit breaker current thresholds. After a forward current fault, the LTC4368 will either latch off power, or retry after a user adjustable delay. After a reverse current fault, the LTC4368 waits for the output to fall 100mV below the input to reconnect power to the load. The LTC4368 has a 32ms turn-on delay that debounces live supply input connections and blocks 50Hz and 60Hz AC power. UV/OV faults also trigger the 32ms recovery delay before the external MOSFETs are turned back on.
