A full range of locking mechanisms.
Stand riser columm collars are pressure die cast aluminum for strength and incorporate ergonomic locking knobs that hold the light exactly where positioned.

Kupo 546M K stand is Junior Boom Stand with one Leveling Leg. In addition to be a standard light stand for general use, it can be easy convert to a junior boom arm by pulling the central tube out from the stand. With sturdily constructed by chrome plated steel, square-end legs and strong pivoting collar, Kupo K stand offers most stable supporting for a medium sized light fixture with a softbox or umbrella. One leveling leg is also equipped to stabilize the load on uneven terrain.
The optional casters, KC-100S, is recommended to easily move the K stand to facilitate location

Kupo wind-up stands are constructed by chrome plated steel with geared column that enable a single operator to raise and lower heavy loads safely with just turn of a handle. Both risers extend simulataneously at one elevation of 4.4cm by per handle turn. The unique automatic self-locking mechanism is equipped to prevent the light stand from dropping unexpectedly making the operation safer.

Features of Wind-up stand :
The stand top mounted by a steel bolt through the top tube that offers most sturdy and solid assembly.
The tension of break shoe can be adjusted with Allen wrench.
Unlock position
The inside spring will bring the safety pin back.
The wind-up handle should be inserted in between center pole and legs to prevent the tube falling suddenly.
Velcro is supplied to fasten the legs for better storage and transportation.
Leveling legs should be set into horizontal at leanning location.

Note: when using c-clamps care must be taken do not over-tight the pipe bolt which affixes the clamp to the batten. If this bolt is over-tighten, it can easily dimple or “drill” into the batten seriously compromising the strength of the batten. A finger tight plus half turn with the wrench is all that required.
