The SimLink™ port allows you to connect the Nēo 280D to other MOON components for two-way communication. This allows you to control other components remotely, and also lets you take advantage of features like switching inputs and adjusting volume.

The MiND module allows you to stream music from your home network to the Nēo 280D. It also includes the TIDAL Music Service, which allows you to access a vast library of high-quality music.

To connect your smartphone to the Nēo 280D using Bluetooth, first press the "BT" button on the front panel to enable Bluetooth discovery mode. Then, pair your smartphone to the Nēo 280D by selecting "MOON 280D..." from the Bluetooth device list on your smartphone. Once pairing is successful, the "BT" LED will stop blinking.

Balanced outputs have three separate conductors, one for the ground and two for the actual signal. These two signals are identical except that one is 180 degrees out of phase with the other. Unbalanced outputs use only two conductors and are more susceptible to noise. The Nēo 280D features both balanced and unbalanced outputs.
