The ADC S-series proximity card readers with built-in card
reader controller (CRC) are designed to interface with all
ADC’s 26-bit Wiegand protocol access control products such
as Access Easy Controller for multiple applications such as
access control, time attendance, guard tour, arming/disarming of intrusion alarms and on/off control of power or
devices, etc.
ADC S-series enclosure houses both the CRC board and a HID
proximity reader module, allows easy mounting and both
installation for either indoor or outdoor at any location. It is
sealed in polycarbonate enclosure designed to withstand
harsh environments. Its performance is highly reliable and has
a high degree off vandal resistance.
The CRC board design supports 3 digital input monitoring
points and 2 output points. The digital input points can be
connected to door status sensor, exit push button switch or
to alarm sensors, while output points can be used to drive
the door strikes / electro-magnetic locks, all depending on
software setup.
ADC S-series of readers have an aesthetic appearance comes
build-in with reader and controller, 2-lines liquid crystal
display (LCD) and 16 keypad. The LCD supports multi-language text and graphics and incorporate a bright background
lighting. Different models of reader without LCDs or keypad
are also available.
