The 2-zone / ‘Class A’ or 4-zone ‘Class B’ speaker-audio splitter (Model SP4Z-A/B) enables one (1) supervised speaker-audio output to drive up to two (2) ‘Class A’ supervised speaker-audio outputs or four (4) ‘Class B’ supervised speaker-audio outputs. Model SP4Z-A/B contains LEDs on the front, indicating Power (On) and Trouble events. LED indication is for individual zone, short and open circuits. Further, rectangular spacing on the module’s faceplate provides for easily labeling of each zone. Model SP4Z-A/B is capable of handling removable wiring terminals for quick connect / disconnect, as well as detecting wiring faults. Each ‘Class A’ zone shall be capable of accepting up to 40 Watts, and shall operate on either 25V or 70.7 VRMS of audio input. Each ‘Class B’ zone shall be capable of accepting up to 40 Watts of audio, and shall operate on either 25V or 70.7 VRMS of audio input. Model SP4Z-A/B shall be capable of supporting live microphone paging, pre-recorded emergency voice evacuation messages, supervised background music and general-paging announcements. Model SP4Z-A/B shall mount inside the enclosures of Models SP40S, as well as the audio boosters (Models SPB-80/4, SPB-160 and SPB-320). The 2-zone / ‘Class A’ or 4-zone ‘Class B’ speaker-audio splitter shall also contain Power (On) and Trouble LEDs with individualzone, short / open-circuit LED indication. Model SP4ZA/B shall be capable of detecting wiring faults. SAFEPATH® Speaker Audio Splitter s Industry, Inc.
