It is a system capable of maintaining ideal conditions of comfort in the environment by running the air conditioner at variable power and “speed”, without ongoing switch-offs and on, typical of traditional equipment: maximum speed and power when needed, gradual and automatic slowdown to constantly adapt, and without changes, to the environment’s request. This means greater comfort deriving from the absence of sudden temperature changes and a large seasonal energy saving - up to 30% less 8 - due to the efficiency increase of the cooling circuit. In heat pump functioning, a further efficiency recovery is added to these advantages in the cycle reverse and defrosting phases of the outdoor heat exchanger. The microprocessor system keeps all appliance functional parameters under control and acts on the power supply frequency of the compressor in a way to prevent breakdowns or malfunctioning. On these new parameters of seasonal efficiency is based the new energy label (also in force since 1 January 2013). The Aermec monosplit air conditioners cover a wide range of cooling powers from 2.5kW to 39.5kW and are available in cooling only and heat pump versions.
