You can connect your TV to an antenna or a cable TV system (according to the instructions on pages 2.1-2.3) and then connect the cable or antenna to the ANTENNA IN terminal on the back of the VCR. Then, connect a coaxial cable between the ANTENNA OUT terminal on the VCR and the antenna terminal on the TV. Also, connect a set of audio cables between the AUDIO OUT jacks on the VCR and the AUDIO jacks on the TV. Finally, connect a video cable between the VIDEO OUT jack on the VCR and the VIDEO jack on the TV.

You can set the clock manually. Go to the Function menu, select Time, and then select Clock. Then press the VOL+ button to select the correct hour and, after the hour is entered, press the VOL+ button to select the minutes. You can also automatically set the clock using the local PBS channel. Press the MENU button, select Function, select Auto clock set, select On, select PBS channel, enter your local PBS station using the CH ▲ and CH ▼ buttons, select Time zone, and adjust the time zone, then select DST and adjust daylight savings time. The clock is now set.

You can change channels by pressing the CH ▲ or CH ▼ button. When you press either button, the TV changes channels in sequence. You can also directly access a channel by pressing the number buttons.

You can label channels using letters, numbers, “*”, or a blank. Go to the Channel menu, select Labeling, and then select a letter, number, “*”, or a blank by pressing the CH ▲ or CH ▼ buttons. Repeat for each of the four fields, and then press MENU to set the label.
