DESCRIPTION
This selects what is sent to the control
room headphones and speakers
EXT1 is the output of a PODBLASTER /
ALPS / COMPOSER PRO Audio
Processor – If fitted to your system.
S2 Mixer Quick Start
This sends the output of the
channel to the PGM Output.
This button must be selected
on channels you want to
stream around the building.
This selects what is sent to the
LED PPM Meters
CR MON follows what you have
selected to listen to on the
Monitor Channel..
This sends the output of the
channel to the AUD Output.
This button must be selected
on channels you want to
record back into Myriad.
This controls the volume of the
studio speakers.
PLEASE NOTE: The speakers
will MUTE when the MIC
channels are used, this is to
prevent audio feedback which
can damage your hearing.
This selects which input
should be used for the
channel.
Normally this is INP1 for
Myriad and CD channels &
MIC for Mic channels.
This sends the input from any channel
you select on CUE / PFL to the speakers,
so you can hear the channel you want to
pre-fade.
This is an Equalizer (EQ) to
adjust the sound of the Input
signal.
LOCK indicates that the AES /
EBU DIGITAL Output is in sync
and operating correctly.
This controls the volume of the
studio headphones.
PLEASE NOTE: The
headphones are NOT level
limited, prolonged loud levels
can damage your hearing.
TRIM is used to increase or
decrease the volume of the
input.
BAL / PAN is used to adjust
the input to be greater on
the Left or Right of the
stereo outputs.
This sends the input from any channel
you select on CUE / PFL to the speakers,
so you can hear the channel you want to
pre-fade.
CUE / PFL is used to listen
to the channel before you
raise the fader. That way
you can cue up CD’s or
check how interviews end.
You should use this to set
the channels input level
before raising the fader (PFL
= Pre Fade Level).
This sends splits the headphone feed so
that you can hear CUE / PFL in one ear
and the PGM / AUD / EXT1 output in the
other. This is perfect for beat matching a
CD on pre-fade with one already playing
on air.
