Warrior from RadioShack. Please read
this user’s guide before setting up and
driving your new Dune Warrior.

1. On the Dune Warrior, thread the antenna wire through the supplied antenna tube, and
insert the tube into the antenna hole. Then tie a loose knot to hold the wire in place.

the supplied charger to charge the battery pack.

Safety and Care
3.The first two times you use the Dune Warrior,
allow 2 hours to fully charge the battery.
After those two times, allow 1.5 hours to fully
charge the battery.
Power LED
• Not recommended for children under 8 years of age. Adult supervision is
recommended at all times.
• Do not use your vehicle near transmitters with the same frequency.

• After playing, wait at least 20 minutes before
charging the battery pack to let it cool.
• A nearby CB radio can interfere with your vehicle’s control. If this happens, move
the vehicle away from the CB radio.
• Never play your vehicle in the street.
• Avoid high-impact collisions with people and objects.
Battery Notes
• Do not disassemble the charger and battery pack. Incorrect assembly can result in
risk of electric shock or fire.
Install Batteries
• Batteries should NEVER be left unattended while charging. Only adults should
charge the batteries. Use caution when using the charger to avoid electric shock.
In Your Dune Warrior
• Do not overcharge the battery pack. Do not recharge the battery pack that shows
leakage or corrosion.
1.Turn off the Dune Warrior.
2.Turn the latch to open the battery
compartment cover, and plug the supplied
battery pack into the socket. Be sure to fit the
battery cables neatly inside the compartment.

3.Replace the cover and secure the latch.
In Your Controller
1.Turn off the controller.
2.Slide to open the battery compartment cover,
and insert two AA batteries (not supplied)
in the battery compartment matching the
polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside. Use
alkaline batteries for optimal performance.

• Dispose of batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or
rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
• If you do not plan to use the vehicle for a long period, remove the batteries from
both the vehicle and controller. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage
electronic parts.
Recycle Rechargeable Batteries
Recycle used rechargeable batteries at one of the many collection sites in the U.S. and
Canada. To find the site nearest you, visit www.call2recycle.org or call 1-800-822-8837.

OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES.
This warranty does not cover: (a) damage or
failure caused by or attributable to abuse,
misuse, failure to follow instructions, improper
installation or maintenance, alteration, accident,
Acts of God (such as floods or lightning), or
excess voltage or current; (b) improper or
incorrectly performed repairs by persons who are
not a RadioShack Authorized Service Facility;
(c) consumables such as fuses or batteries; (d)
ordinary wear and tear or cosmetic damage;
(e) transportation, shipping or insurance costs;
(f) costs of product removal, installation, set-up
service, adjustment or reinstallation; and (g)
claims by persons other than the original

Should a problem occur that is covered by this
warranty, take the product and the RadioShack
sales receipt as proof of purchase date to any
RadioShack store in the U.S. RadioShack will,
at its option, unless otherwise provided by law:
(a) repair the product without charge for parts
and labor; (b) replace the product with the
same or a comparable product; or (c) refund the
purchase price. All replaced parts and products,
and products on which a refund is made,
become the property of RadioShack. New or
reconditioned parts and products may be used
in the performance of warranty service. Repaired
or replaced parts and products are warranted for
the remainder of the original warranty period.
You will be charged for repair or replacement
of the product made after the expiration of the
warranty period.
