G-Series positive displacement flow meters utilise the proven oval rotor design and are available in a
comprehensive selection of models and sizes. All meters are precision engineered and manufactured under
strict conditions of quality control, ensuring high accuracy with excellent levels of repeatability.
G-Series flow meters are suitable for a wide variety of applications on diverse liquids such as kerosene
to bunker oil. The oval rotor design ensures that all fluid is precisely measured without the need for flow
conditioning and with minimum pressure loss through the meter, even on changing to highly viscous
products up to 1 million centipoise.

Operating Principle
A pair of meshing oval rotors revolve on shafts located within a precision machined chamber inside the
meter body. Close tolerance machining eliminates pockets in which liquid could stagnate and ensures
maximum meter accuracy on thin as well as viscous fluids.
Each rotation measures a swept volume of liquid which is translated into volumetric measurement by
means of a mechanical output shaft or via electronic pulse generation, with options for reed-switch or hall
effect output.
Low pressure drop is a key operating feature of oval rotor flow meters, allowing for use in both pump and
gravity fed applications.
All meters are individually factory tested and their accuracy verified against certified transfer standards.
Calibration reports as well as instruction/installation manuals accompany all meters supplied.

Operating Principle
A pair of meshing oval rotors revolve on shafts located within a precision machined chamber inside the
meter body. Close tolerance machining eliminates pockets in which liquid could stagnate and ensures
maximum meter accuracy on thin as well as viscous fluids.
Each rotation measures a swept volume of liquid which is translated into volumetric measurement by
means of a mechanical output shaft or via electronic pulse generation, with options for reed-switch or hall
effect output.
Low pressure drop is a key operating feature of oval rotor flow meters, allowing for use in both pump and
gravity fed applications.
All meters are individually factory tested and their accuracy verified against certified transfer standards.
Calibration reports as well as instruction/installation manuals accompany all meters supplied.

Operating Principle
Electromagnetic flow meters are suitable for all conductive liquids including: aggressive, abrasive and
hygienic fluids.
They are also suitable for applications with high solids content due to their non-intrusive design.
Measurement is achieved via two electrodes mounted in the body of the meter which sense the changes
in a magnetic field caused by the passage of electrically conductive liquids. The measurement of this
electromotive force is based on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic
Induction and the resulting signal is conditioned by the integral or
remote mounted converter to give accurate measurement of flow rate.

Operating Principle
Flow turbines provide an inferential measurement of flow. The rotor blades sweep out the full bore of the
meter except for a small tip clearance space. As the blade tips pass the magnetic pick up they initiate a
pulse. Flow rate is determined by the frequency of the pulses and Totalised Flow is obtained by summing
the pulses.
Internals Kit‘s (calibrated) can be supplied, which are very easy to retrofit into an existing body on location
(eliminating the need to return the turbine for calibration) .

A2 Digital Turbine Flow meters are highly reliable and robust flowmeters, yet economically priced.
They are suitable for low viscosity lubricating and non-lubricating fluids. All models are factory calibrated,
but can be easily field calibrated, for increased accuracy. A choice of materials and fittings makes them

The 200-series range has been designed with a rugged aluminium enclosure and resistant
ABS front panel with sturdy push buttons. Various models exist to accept pulse or analogue
inputs. A wide selection of features and options are available. 200-series units contain an
innovative self-tuning power supply 80-240V AC with the option to connect 12-28V AC/DC.

300SERIES
INDUSTRIAL BATCH CONTROLLERS & LOADING SYSTEMS
The 300-series range incorporates a wide selection of enclosures and feature packed

include: high speed batchers with CIP control, dual channel batch controllers as well as
advanced tanker loading systems and multiple menu-batchers with printer output and

PANEL MOUNT INDICATOR - (DIN 43700) Large back-lit LCD display
The 600-series range has been designed primarily for applications where simultaneous
flowmeter inputs require mathematical evaluation. Such as: additive addition, ratio control
and ingredient consumption analysis. Features of the range include: mass flow calculation,
curve linearisation, dual analogue output and multiple pulse/relay inputs and outputs.
All totals and process data are stored in NVRAM for safety.

design and install innovative solvent management systems. The

demand, tighter control of ink viscosity and solvent mixing, as well as

around the UK, as well as numerous bespoke menu batching systems and control systems in all areas

The Multiflow was designed to meet the ever changing needs of flow metering and can be adapted to virtually any
flow application. All Multiflow systems are specifically tailored to the customers’ requirements by the addition of the
available options and the inclusion of dedicated software. Application specific software is written on a job-by-job
basis and each application benefits from the years of experience acquired by the Multiflow to date.
The Multiflow boasts powerful information processing capabilities and utilizes true parallel processing, with channel
and card instruction routines being run at up to five million times per second.
SERVICE & CALIBRATION
Bell Flow Sytems offers scheduled recalibrations to many of our customers, with the option to
return your meter to us, or to request an on-site calibration using transfer standard meters or proven
recalibration techniques.
Calibrations are on oil or water and all meters calibrated are issued
with calibration certificates, featuring the relevant data.
Our service and commissioning options allow you peace of mind
knowing that the equipment you have purchased will be installed and
configured correctly. Providing you with the accurate and reliable
results that you need. Many spares for repairs are carried in stock
and years of experience tell us what is needed to get you working
