POWER SOURCE
This Pocket Digital FM Clock Radio operates on 2 ‘AAA’ batteries (not included).
The Docking station an external AC adaptor with a rating of 6 volts DC 400mA.
The AC/DC adaptor is used as the disconnect device and it shall remain readily operable.
To completely disconnect the power input, the AC/DC adaptor of the apparatus shall be
disconnected from the mains completely.
CAUTIONS FOR SAFETY
Ensure a minimum distance of 5 cm around the apparatus for sufficient ventilations.
Ensure that the ventilation is not impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items,
such as newspapers, table-cloths curtains, etc..
Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles on the apparatus.
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping splashing and that no objects filled with
liquids such as vases, shall be placed on apparatus.
Take attention to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
Use the apparatus only in moderate climates (not in tropical climates).
Under the influence of electrostatic phenomenon, the product may malfunction and require
user to reset.
A. Battery installation
1. Slide the battery door in the direction of the arrow to open. Following the polarity diagram
shown in the battery compartment, install 2 ‘AAA’ batteries. Replace the battery door.
IMPORTANT: Be sure that the batteries are installed correctly. Wrong polarity may damage the
unit.
2. For better performance and longer operating time, we recommend the use of alkaline-type
batteries.
3. (a)Do not mix old and new batteries.
(a)Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
4. If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time remove the batteries. Old or
leaking batteries can cause damage to the unit.
5. Do not dispose of batteries in fire batteries may explode or leak.
B. A C Operation of Docking Station
This unit may also be used with an AC adaptor. When the AC adaptor is connected to the DC IN
JACK (#23), make sure to use an AC adaptor with the following polarity.
If you using a universal adaptor with an output polarity switch or polarized plugs,
be sure to set the polarity to “+”. Use the AC adaptor designed for this product.

CONNECT DOCKING STATION
The Pocket Digital FM Clock Radio to Connecting Docking station.
1. Insert Pocket Radio to the slot of the metal contact plate.
2. Insert the adaptor plug into the DC input jack on the unit.
3. Press the Standby switch (#9) to ON. The power indicator will on.
If you want power off press the Standby switch again (#9).
Correct method to remove the Pocket Digital FM Clock Radio from the
Docking station.
CLOCK SETTING
Note: i). In order for the clock to function properly, the clock must be set when used for the first time , or when
the unit has been reset.
ii). The default date of the clock is 2004 01 01 in the format of YYYY-MM-DD.
iii). If no button is pressed in 30 seconds, the unit will exit the setting mode.
1. Press the TIME button (#18) to enter the clock/date mode, press the SET Button (#4) once to enter clock
setting mode. HOUR digit flashes to prompt for input.
2. Press and hold “UP” or “DOWN” Button (#2 or #14) until the correct hour is displayed.
Note: If 12 HOUR format is selected, make sure the hour is set so that PM is correctly
displayed when the set time is in PM.
3. Press SET Button (#4) to confirm the selection and MINUTE position flashes to prompt for input.
4. Press and hold “UP” or “DOWN” Button (#2 or #14) until the correct minute is displayed.
5. Press SET Button (#4) to confirm the selection and the YEAR position flashes to prompt for input.
6. Press and hold “UP” or “DOWN” Button (#2 or #14) until the correct year is displayed.
7. Press SET Button (#4) to confirm the selection and the MONTH position flashes to prompt for input.
8. Press and hold “UP” or “DOWN” Button (#2 or #14) until the correct month is displayed.
9. Press SET Button (#4) to confirm the selection and the DATE position flashes to prompt for input.
10. Press and hold “UP” or “DOVWN” button (#2 or #14) until the correct date is displayed.
11. Press SET Button ( #4 ) to complete the setting .
Note: A. In current time mode press “UP” Button to toggle between 12HOUR and 24HOUR
format display .
B. When pressing the “UP” or “DOWN” button keep the button pressed to accelerate
the display settings .
C. Make sure “PM” is correctly set otherwise the alarm will not sound at the correct time .

RADIO TUNING
In current date mode, press the RADIO ON/OFF Button (#5) once to turn the radio on.
TO:
PRESS:
Scan radio station automatically UP (#2) or DOWN (#14) for 1 second and release
Stop auto-tuning
UP (#2) or DOWN (#14) again
Scan radio station manually
UP (#2) or DOWN (#14)
Control the sound level
VOLUME (#1) followed by UP(#2) or DOWN (#14) Button
Note: i. Volume will automatically revert to radio frequency display after 30 seconds.
ii. When listening to FM program, FM Radio reception can be optimized by adjusting the
length and position of the wire external antenna.
iii. Automatic tuning depends on the signal strength of the broadcasting station; weak
stations are some times skipped. Tune manually to find the weak stations. On the other
hand, with a strong signal, the tuner may stop before it reaches optimum setting. Tune
manually for the best reception.
TO PRESET CHANNELS
This unit is equipped with 30 preset memories for FM. Once they are preset, they can be
instantly accessed by pressing the MEMORY Button (#15) followed by UP (#2) or DOWN (#14)
Button.
1. Press RADIO ON/OFF button (#5) to turn on the unit. Multi Mode Indicator (D1) will show
“FM” and frequency.
2. Tune to a desired station by pressing UP (#2) or DOWN (#14) button.
3. Press the MEMORY Button (#15) to enter the PRESET mode. Multi Mode Indicator (D1)
will show “M01”in the top left corner of the display.
4. Press and hold “UP” or “DOWN” Button (#2 or#14) until the desired preset channel (M01,
M02 …… M30) is shown in the top left corner of the display.
5. Press the SET button (#4) to enter the desired preset channel. The selected frequency will
resume displaying.
6. To store other stations in another preset channel. Press the RADIO ON/OFF Button (#5)
again, tune to a new station and repeat steps 2 to 6 to complete the preset process.
AUTOMATICALLY PRESET CHANNELS
1. Press RADIO ON/OFF button (#5) to turn on the unit. Multi Mode Indicator (D1) will show
“FM” and frequency.
2. Press and hold the AUTO button (#6) few second to enter auto search mode.
3. The unit will auto search channel start from87.5 MHz, when channel is found, it will auto
save in the unit.
4. When auto search reach the maximum frequency, it will stop automatically and will start
playing the first channel that saved in the unit.
LISTEN TO PRESET STATIONS
1. In current date mode, press RADIO ON/OFF Button (#5) to turn on the unit
2. Press MEMORY Button (#15) to enter PRESET function mode. Preset Channel (M01….M30)
appears in the top left corner of the display (#D1).
3. Press “UP” (#2) or “DOWN” (#14) Button to choose your preset station.
4. To adjust the volume, press VOLUME Button (#1) to enter volume adjust mode. Multi Mode
Indicator (D1) will show “VOL” in the top left comer of the Multi Function Display (#3).
5. Press “UP” (#2) or “DOWN” (#14) button to adjusts the desired volume level.

VIEWING THE DATE
In RADIO mode, if you want to check the date, simply press the TIME Button (#18) once. To
resume Display to RADIO mode, press RADIO ON/OFF Button (#5) once.
ALARM SETTING AND ALARM OPERATION
1. ln current date mode, press Alarm 1 Button(#7)or Alarm2 Button (#17)once or twice to
enter ALARM time setting mode. Multi Mode Indicator shows “AL1”or “A12” and icon
“
” (#D3) or“ ” (#D5) appears in the first row of the display.
2. Press SET Button (#4) once. HOUR digit flashes to prompt for input.
3. Press and hold “UP” (#2) or “DOWN” (#14) Button until the correct hour is displayed. Note:
lf 12 HOUR format is selected, make sure the hour is set so that PM is correctly displayed,
otherwise the alarm will not sound at the correct time.
4. Press Set Button (#4) to confirm the selection. The MINUTE position flashes to prompt for
input.
5. Press and hold “UP” (#2) or “DOWN” (#14) Button until the correct minute is displayed.
6. Press SET Button (#4) to complete the setting.
Note: Alarm will beep when the alarm time is reached and will last for 59 minutes if no button
is pressed.
7. lf you want to listen to the radio instead of the “Beep Beep” sound, Press RADIO ON/OFF
Button, Radio Alarm Indicator “ ”(#D4) or “ ”(#D6) will appear in the LCD.
Note: Radio will play when the alarm time is reached and will last for 59 minutes if no button is
pressed.
8. When the Radio/Beep Beep sounds, on press one of the buttons, except the ALARM 1 or
ALARM 2 Button, to shut off the alarm. ALARM Indicator “ ” (#D3) or “ ” (#D5)
appears steadily in the LCD. The Radio/Beep will run on again automatically at the preset
alarm time on the following days.
SHOOZE OPERATION
When the alarm sounds on (Beep Beep or radio), you can press the SNOOZE Button (#11) to
extend the alarm time by 9 minutes. The alarm will then turn on again.
Note: “ ” (D#3) or“ ” (D#5) and “SNZ” (#D8) will flash indicating the SNOOZE function
is activated.
TO SHUT OFF THE ALARM FUNCTION
In current date mode, press AL 1 or AL 2 Button once or twice so that “OFF” are displayed.
The display will return to current date mode and ALARM Indicator “ ” (#D3) or” ” (#D5)
will disappear from the display.
SLEEP TO RADIO
1. To set the desired Sleep Time, press the SLEEP Button (#16) to enter SLEEP setting mode.
MULTI MODE Indicator (#D1) will show “SLP”.
2. Press SLEEP Button until you reach the desired length of time you wish the radio to play.
SLEEP Indicator “Z z” (#D7) flashes indicating SLEEP function is activated.
Note: The time in creases or decreases in increments of 10 minutes and can be set from 10
minutes up to 90 minutes.
3. Press RADIO ON/OFF to change to radio display.
4. Press UP or DOWN button to set the channel OR press MENORY button for the desired
channel.
5. The radio will automatically turn off when the sleep time has elapsed. However, if you want
to turn the radio off before the preset sleep time, press the SLEEP button repeatedly and
release when “00” is displayed.

SLEEP AND WAKE TO ALARM OR RADIO
1. Follow steps 1 to 6 under the "ALARM SETTING AND ALARM “OPERATION" section
to set the ALARM time.
2. Follow steps 1 to 4 under the "SLEEP TO RADIO" section to set the desired
SLEEP time. The Radio is now programmed to turn off automatically at the Sleep Time you
selected and then to turn on again at the preset "Alarm Time".
AUTO RETURN TO CURRENT DATE/TIME MODE
While setting the Time, Alarm, Sleep duration, Volume or Radio Preset Programming, the clock
will automatically return to current date/time mode if there is no key pressed in 30 seconds.
BACKLIGHTING
1. When running on battery power the display backlight turns itself off after 8 seconds.
2. The display backlight stays on all the time when the radio unit is in its docking station.
RESETTING THE UNIT
If any one of the keys is not functioning properly, you maybe able to resolve this problem by
pressing the RESET Switch (#21) by using a pointed object such as the tip of a paper clip
IMPORTANT: After reset, the entire settings will de lost. Follow the procedure’s as described
above to reset the clock, Alarm Time and Radio presets once again.
CARE AND, MAINTENANCERESETTING THE UNIT
1. Clean the unit with a soft, damp (never wet) cloth, Solvent or detergent should never be used.
2. Avoid operating your unit under direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places.
3. Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as
fluorescent lamps or motors
4. For better Clock Display clarity, avoid operating the unit under direct sunlight or in strong
room illumination.
