DESCRIPTION
IATA regulations forbid the transport of Li-Ion batteries in the
aircraft hold. If you are unable to carry Li-Ion batteries in your
hand-luggage, PAG ZL-Series batteries may be the solution.
ZL stands for Zero-Lithium; the PAG ZL-150 employs the
latest Nickel Metal-Hydride cell-technology. These batteries
are not subject to the same air transport constraints as their
Li-Ion counterparts; they can be legally checked-in with your
luggage and other equipment for transport in the hold.
The PAG ZL-150 Battery is a low-profile 14.4V pack, with a
capacity of 150 Watt-hours. Li-Ion batteries with capacities
greater than 100 watt-hours are limited to two units aboard
aircraft, whereas the ZL-150 has no such restriction.
In addition to the air transportation benefits, the PAG ZL-150
is an ideal solution for those who require a high current-draw
capability (up to 10A max. discharge) and extended run-time.
The ZL-150 incorporates a manual Charged/Used Indicator
which can be used to remind you of the battery’s charge
status. The charge status is also indicated by PAG chargers.
The PAG ZL-150 is available in models that are compatible
with either the V-Mount or PAGlok battery mounts. Ni-MH
cycle life has greatly improved since it was first introduced to
the industry. This is especially true if the batteries are always
charged with the appropriate PAG charger.

and excessive currents by means of a selfresetting protection device; and against overtemperature by means of a self-resetting
thermal trip rated 71°C.

High-impact polycarbonate injection
mouldings designed to protect the cells from
impact damage. The cells have welded
interconnections of low-resistance nickel
strap. Batteries are sealed and non userserviceable.

rechargeable cylindrical cells.
Operating Temperature Range:
Optimum discharge efficiency is achieved
within the temperature range 0°C to +40°C.
