D) Explanation of Programmable Functions
01) Temporary Sensor Bypass - Factory Default: Disabled
(a) When Enabled:
Shock sensor and ultrasonic sensor (Ports W7 and W8) both will be bypassed temporarily
when Enabled. This bypass will be canceled and the sensors will work as normal again once
the ignition has been turned on.
(b) When Disabled:
Both sensors work as normal.
02) Engine Immobiliser: Factory Default: Disabled
(a) When Enabled:
When the system has been disarmed by pressing one of the factory remotes or opening doors
manually the system will be disarmed, but the engine will remain immobilised. The only way
to disarm the immobiliser is to use the Personal Code.
To disarm immobiliser by personal code:
(1) Disarm the system by pressing one of the factory remotes.
(2) Open the door.
(3) Turn the ignition on.
(4) LED starts flashing after 2 seconds from turning ignition on.
(5) Turn off the ignition once the LED has flashed the same number of times as the personal
code.
(6) The LED will flash once to confirm the immobiliser is off now.
(b) When Disabled:
The system will be disarmed completely including the immobiliser when the system is
disarmed by pressing one of the factory remotes.
03) Anti-hijackings: Factory Default: Enabled
(a) When Enabled:
Anti-hijacking mode 1 or mode 2 will be activated depending on the selection as listed as
below.
(b) When Disabled:
No anti-hijacking function
04) Anti-hijacking Mode: Factory Default: Mode 1
(a) Under Mode 1:
With the alarm disarmed, simply pressing valet switch once will activate the aniti-hijacking.
The operation is as follows:
(1) With the alarm disarmed.
(2) Press the Valet switch once.
(3) The system starts counting down for 60 or 120 seconds and the LED will flash once every
5 seconds.
(4) After 60 or 120 seconds, the siren will chirp 10 times to warn that the system will enter
into anti-hijacking mode after the 10 chirps.
(b) Under Mode 2:
With the alarm disarmed and when the ignition is on, the anti-hijacking will be activated when
the door is opened and closed. The operation is as follows:
(1) With the alarm disarmed.
(2) With the Ignition on
(3) Open and close the door
(4) The system starts counting down for 60 or 120 seconds and the LED will flash once every
5 seconds.
(5) After 60 or 120 seconds, the siren chirps 10 times to warn that the system will enter
anti-hijacking mode after the 10 chirps.
Note:
a. The only way to deactivate the anti-hijacking mode is by personal code.
b. The system won’t be able to enter in the valet mode when the system is under the
anti-hijacking mode
05) Anti-Hijacking Delay: Factory Default 60 Seconds
Anti-hijacking mode will be activated after 60 or 120 seconds depending on the selection.
06) Interior Light Delay (20 Seconds): Factory Default: Enabled
(a) When Enabled:
If the system is armed by pressing one of the factory remotes and the doors, boot or bonnet
are not closed properly the siren will chirp once and the LED flash. After 20 seconds, the siren
will chirp 3 times and the LED flashes once again then starts flashing slowly to indicate one (or
some) of the sensors has been triggered. In this case, the door, boot or bonnet won’t be
triggered unless it is closed properly.
(b) When Disabled:
If the system is armed by pressing one of the factory remotes and the doors, boot or bonnet
are not closed properly the siren will chirp 4 times, indicator lights flash 3 times and LED will
flash. In this case, the door, boot or bonnet won’t be triggered unless it is closed properly.
07) Chirps Disable or Enable: Factory Default: Disabled
(a) When Disabled:
The siren won’t chirp when the system is armed or disarmed.
(b) When Enabled:
The siren will chirp when the system is armed or disarmed.
08) Indicator Light Disable or Enable: Factory Default: Disabled
(a) When Disabled:
The indicator lights won’t flash when the system is armed or disarmed..
(b) When Enabled:
The indicator lights will flash when the system is armed or disarmed.
09) Entry Delay: Factory Default: Disabled
(a) When Disabled:
The system will be disarmed immediately if the a door is opened, regardless of whether the
door is opened by pressing one of the factory remotes or manually.
(b) When Enabled:
If the door is opened when the system is armed and the ignition is not turned on within
approximately 40 seconds the system will then trigger and sound the siren fully.
If the system is disarmed from one of the factory remotes or manually the doors will be
unlocked but the alarm system will remain in armed mode.
(1) If one of the car doors is opened first, then the bonnet, boot, shock sensor and ignition will
be on a delayed trigger of 30 seconds and the time of it takes to chirp 10 times
(approximately 40 seconds in total). During this period turning on the ignition will disarm
the system completely. After this 40-second period, if the ignition is not switched on, the
system will be triggered in full.
(2) If the boot, bonnet or shock sensor is triggered first, the system will be triggered
immediately.
(3) Once the system has been triggered applying the override mode (Personal code) will
disarm the system.
10) Personal Code: Factory Default: LED Flashes Once
The personal code is operated based on the LED flashing. The system has to be disabled by
personal code under the following 4 modes:
(1) When the system is triggered and alarming
(2) When the system is in anti-hijacking mode.
(3) When the system is programmed with the engine immobiliser enabled (option no. 2).
(4) Emergency Override
a) How to program the Personal code (option no. 10)
(1) Two seconds after choosing programming option 10 the LED will start to slowly flash 10
times.
(2) If you wanted to program 4 as your personal code for example:
Simply press the valet switch once after the LED has flashed 4 times and your personal
code will be programmed as 4.
(3) The personal code won’t be changed if the valet switch is pressed during the LED
flashing 10 times.
(4) The system will leave the programming mode in 12 seconds after your previous
programming or the ignition is turned off, and the siren will sound for 2 sec. to confirm
the system has left the programming mode.
(5) To program other functions, please repeat from above a).
b) How to operate the personal code:
When the system is in one of the above-mentioned 4 modes
(1) Open the door.
(2) Turn on the ignition and the LED starts flashing after 2 seconds.
(3) Turn off the ignition when the LED has flashed the same number of times as the personal
code.
(4) Repeat the above operation if the previous operation failed
