ID TECH’s VersaKey Compact keyboard features 103/104 keys and an integrated magnetic stripe card reader for maximum user productivity. The

VersaKey Compact’s 14” width is ideal for applications where space is at a premium. It is designed to meet all of the requirements found in retail applications such as: hospitality, airline, postal services, loyalty, security, car rentals etc. It has both USB-KB and PS/2 KB communication interfaces available making it compatible with almost all POS applications.

Versatile MagStripe Reader

VersaKey Compact’s integrated MagStripe reader, reads up to three tracks of card data and its output is easily customized using the “MagStripe Configuration Utility” program. Using the configuration utility, the reader can edit and format data. such as dividing, rearranging and parsing fields of magnetic stripe data. The magstripe reader provides for bi-directional card swiping for ease of operation from either side of the magnetic head. In addition, it has audio feedback indicating a successful card read operation.

Guaranteed Reliability

The VersaKey Compact is designed for durability and the reliability needed to meet the demand of high use POS environments. The keyboard has been tested to more than 20 million key operations and 1 million card swipes. The keyboard design incorporates spill-proof membrane key switch construction which minimizes lost time due to liquid spills, and/or contamination. All of these features combined with a standard 3 year warranty ensures our customers that they are getting not only a great value, but extremely reliable compact keyboard.
