PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The GS-7300 Series is a series of Gigabit Ethernet Desktop Switches designed for small office or home office
applications. The series consists of 5, 8, 16, and 20-port options. The ports can be used to connect to a PC or
Server as well as uplink ports to connect other network devices. With the GS-7300 Series, users can keep their
original 100Mbps network cabling in place and remove the bottleneck of a Fast Ethernet (10/100) switch,
therefore increasing aggregate transmission rate by replacing it with GS-7300 series Gigabit switch
(10/100/1000). For example, using a Gigabit switch would allow 10 devices to use their full 100Mbps
transmission rate simultaneously. In addition, the GS-7300 Series supports automatic shifting to power-saving
mode when ports are not in use.
