Follow these instructions to set the system to record up to 16 recording

Place a DVD+R or DVD+RW disc (label facing up) to be recorded on the disc tray.
If a blank disc is used for first time, “ MAGNUM” logo will appear on the screen.
Note: Blank DVD+R may take a while longer to play.

ª Timeshift Function
Do not miss a scene from a live broadcast. For instance, when you enjoy a live show, you can press this button to stop that
program anytime if you need a break. After you come back, you can continue watching that program from the point you stop
without missing any spectacular part as the recorder has recorded the content while you are away. (When in the timeshift

mode, the system starts recording to the buffer on the HDD and will start playback from the same buffer.)

Press TIMESHIFT to record to the buffer on the HDD and the frame will be frozed on the screen.

The frozen frame stays on the screen until presses PLAY button to start timeshift playback.

From the HDD title screen you can select a title to copy to DVD .

HDD.

Editing Disc
Using the EDIT menu you can edit content on unfinalized DVD discs. The editing feature available in the menu depend on
whether you are editing original content from the unit. Once a disc has been finalized, further editing is not possible. But you
can still select titles for playback.
ª Managing the Disc Chapter
Chapters are useful for quick navigation to certain point in the content.
The æ and ç buttons on the remote control offer quick navigation to
these points in the content.

word “ Hidden” while this chapter is being played back.
The Hide chapter feature automatically stops at the next chapter mark.

Once a chapter is hidded, it will not show up during normal playback on this unit or on a regular.

Please make these simple checks before calling service. These tips can save you time and money.

• Make sure the power cord is inserted fully into a 230V/50Hz outlet.

• Unplug the power cord, wait 1 minute, then reinsert the plug and push the POWER button.
