General notes
If fitting in flammable material, the guidelines and standards for low voltage installations and for the fire protection must be
strictly observed.
Identification plate
Open the appliance door. The type plate is located on the left-hand edge protector (see figure).
Connection plate
The connection plate is on the connection cable.
Electrical connections
Electrical connections must made by trained electricians in accordance with the guidelines and standards for low voltage
installations and the specifications of the local electricity supply companies.
A plug-in appliance may only be connected to a socket outlet with earthing contact, installed according to specifications. An
all-pole mains isolating device with 3 mm contact opening should be provided in the house wiring system. Switches, plug and
socket devices, circuit breakers and fusible cut-outs which are accessible after installation and which have all-poles switching
are permissible as isolating devices. Effective earthing and separately installed neutral and earth conductors ensure safe and
fault-free operation. After installation, live parts and cables with basic insulation must not be accessible. Old installations should
always be checked.

Remove accessories from the cooking space.
Remove the sealing film over the water outlet in the cooking space.
Insert the filter over the water outlet in the cooking space.
Appliance with the steamer mode
Operate at 100°C for at least 4 minutes.
- At the end of the process, the appliance releases the steam automatically, which should be checked. The base is then flooded with
water automatically and must be completely drained off until there are only a few drops left.
If the «Check water supply» message appears:
➤ Check whether the water supply is open and water is available.
➤ If the water supply is open, press OK on the display to confirm.
➤ Check that the reinforced hose is free of kinks.
If water still remains in the cooking space, the pumping off process is repeated more than three times at short intervals, the “Check
water outlet” or E77, E78 message appears:
➤ Check the drain hose is free of kinks.
➤ Lay the drain hose so that the hose content does not run back into the appliance.

• Special care is needed if the descaling was aborted and descaler still remains in the water system.
Draining the fixed mains water connection
➤ Close the stopcock, hang up the reinforced hose.
➤ Start the hot air mode, then press the Off button after 10 seconds. Wait one minute until it drains.
