Connecting Wires
Identify the blue and the white wires
extending from the timer unit. Attach the
blue wire to the copper lead of the motor
(either end) and then attach the white
wire to another copper lead of the motor.
Reversing the attachment of wires only
changes the spinning direction and it
does not cause damage to the unit.
Attaching Battery
This digital timer fits a 6 Volt battery
operation and a rechargeable battery is
recommended for the best operation of
the unit. Connect the red wire to the
positive terminal (+) on the battery and
the black wire to the negative terminal (-)
on the battery. The battery indicator on
the display shows the power status
while in use
Setting Time
Change from “READY” mode to
“CLOCK” mode by pressing the ▲ or
▼ buttons and then press “OK” button
to enter “Clock” mode. Press ▲ and ▼
buttons and the “OK” button to adjust
the time. Press “OK” button again when
finish
Setting Feed Time
Move to “FEED” mode by pressing the
▲ or▼ buttons and then press the “OK”
button to enter “FEED” mode. Select
feed # and set feed time using the▲
and▼ buttons and the “OK” buttons to
confirm.* If you do not want to use all 6
feeds, just set the feed time to “OFF” for
the feeds not to be used.
Once the feed time is set, select
duration of feed from 1 to 30 seconds.
Select RPM (Hi/Med/Low) to set
spinning speed.
Repeating the above steps to set next
feed time, duration and spinning speed.
Press “OK” button to return to “FEED”
mode.
Test Mode
The “Test” mode allows you to test the
unit. Move to “Test” mode by pressing
▲ or▼ buttons. The unit will run after 10
seconds once you press the “OK” button.
The spinning duration is same as that
you set in the first feed.
DO NOT TEST FEEDER WHEN IT CONTAINS FEED. TEST
FEEDER WHEN EMPTY ONLY! TESTING THE FEEDER
WHILE IT CONTAINS FEED WILL CAUSE FEED TO BE
DISCHARGED AT A HIGH VELOCITY AND COULD RESULT
IN BODY INJURY. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE
INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR
DEATH!
Resetting the Unit
If you observe a malfunction of the unit,
reset the unit by moving to “RESET”
mode and then press “OK” button. The
unit will restore to default factory setting
Trouble Shooting
Jam or Short- When you see
either one or both of these signs on the
display, the timer unit has stopped
automatically to protect itself from short
circuit. Disconnect the power supply first
and then check the entire feeder unit for
any abnormal set up eg, the spinning
plate is clogged by feed, the timer unit
experienced an unstable current input
due to external interference or other
reasons. Having fixed the problem,
reconnect the power supply and the unit
should resume normal. If problem
persists, call our customer service for
help.
Safety
- disconnect the power supply before
relocating the feeder or adjusting the
spinning plate
- when the unit is in operation, stay at a
safe distance as feed may hit your
eyes and body.
Battery
Every time you disconnect the battery
from the unit, you need to reset the time
when reconnecting. Bad weather may
affect the performance of the battery
power.
LCD Display
Bad weather may also affect the
responsiveness of the LCD display.
However, functionality of the unit is not
affected.
