If the attached Contract and this rider is not signed and returned within ten (15) working days of
performance, this contract will be subject to cancellation by Artist. Absolutely no changes are to
be made to this rider without prior agreement by Artist’s Representative.

In order to insure a quality concert, PURCHASER agrees to provide ARTIST with the following at

A stage for performance, which must be a minimum of twenty (20) Feet deep from front
to back and Thirty (30) Feet wide from left to right. The stage must be flat, smooth and
stable.
A professional lighting system, with a minimum of 48 One KW lighting instruments, and at
least two (2) follow spots. PURCHASER must provide an intercom system for the
lighting operators (Board/follow spots/house lights/stage manager).
A professional sound reinforcement system with at least 40 inputs capable of providing
clear, undistorted, evenly distributed sound throughout the entire audience area
consisting of the following:

2.
CARTAGE
Purchaser at his sole cost and expense, upon request of Artist, shall provide Artist with a moving
van or truck and driver for the purpose of carting any of bands musical or personal equipment to
and from the performance location. Said moving van or truck shall be made available to Artist or
his representative the day of performance and will be used for pick-up, load in, load-out, and
return trip. Once the request for transportation is made by Artist, any delay which affects the
performance shall be Purchaser's sole responsibility and Purchaser hereby indemnifies Artist
from any liability for a late or missed performance as a result of failing to timely provide the
requested transportation.
3.
BACKSTAGE AMENITIES/SECURITY/FOOD
a.
PURCHASER shall furnish ARTIST, at PURCHASER'S sole cost and expense, with two
(2) large, safe, comfortable, private dressing rooms; one for ARTIST'S sole use and one
for ARTIST’S staff and/or musicians. These rooms are to be clean, dry, well lighted and
heated or air conditioned as the weather shall require. The dressing rooms are to be
made available to ARTIST'S representative upon his arrival for the sound check and are
to remain available to ARTIST and his staff until two (2) hours after the close of the
performance. PURCHASER shall be solely responsible for the security of items in the
dressing room area and shall keep all unauthorized persons from entering said area,
particularly while ARTIST is performing. In addition, these rooms shall be capable of
being locked and the keys shall be allowed only to ARTIST' S representative.

1. Lights, full length mirrors, clothing racks, several electrical outlets, wash basin and
showers supplied with hot and cold running water, eight (8) bath sized towels, eight
(8) clean hand towels, and private lavatories.
2. Purchaser shall supplement any facility which has inadequate equipment so
that the above referenced requirements are met.
4.
Food
a.
At soundcheck, bottled water, juices (apple, orange, cranberry), coffee & tea should be
made available to ARTIST.
b.
Either after performance or after soundcheck/rehearsal (time to be determined by artist
or artist representative based on schedule), a hot 3 course sit down meal will be
provided for the ARTIST and his entourage (Approx. 7 people) by PURCHASER at their
sole cost and expense. The main course shall consist of chicken or fish and shall include
assorted vegetables and apple, orange or cranberry juice. NO FAST FOOD WILL BE
ACCEPTED AT ANY TIME.
c.
The following items will be made available in the ARTIST'S dressing room upon arrival
before performance at PURCHASER’S sole cost and expense:
1.
Hot water, herbal tea bags, lemon and honey.
2.
One bowl of fresh, seasonal fruit, e.g., strawberries, grapes, apples.
3.
One small deli tray consisting of turkey, assorted raw vegetables washed and
cut, including celery, carrots, tomatoes with mustard and mayonnaise on the
side.
4.
One six pack of mineral water, iced.
5.
One half loaf of whole wheat bread.
6.
One bottle of French Champagne (Veuve Cliquot or its equivalent)
d.
The following items will be made available in the BAND/STAFF dressing room upon
arrival before performance at PURCHASERS sole cost and expense:

One case of assorted soft drinks and ice (diet - regular Coke, Canada Dry or
Schweppes ginger ale)
Two (2) six packs of Beer (optional)
Two six packs non-sparkling water.
Two six packs of sparkling water.
One quart each of apple and cranberry, juices
Fresh brewed coffee with cream and sugar, including seven coffee cups with the
coffee service; tea with honey and lemon.
One large deli tray with assorted meats and cheeses and assorted breads (wheat
and rye), condiments, cups, ice, etc.
One bowl of fresh, seasonal fruit, e.g., strawberries, grapes, oranges, apples.
COMPENSATION/BOX OFFICE/SETTLEMENT

PURCHASER is to pay ARTIST'S representative prior to performance, the guaranteed
amount, or the balance of the guaranteed amount, if a deposit has already been paid.
Payments to be made hereunder shall be in the form of cash, certified check, or cashiers
check. ARTIST will refuse to accept personal or corporate checks as fulfillment of any

portion of PURCHASER'S obligation hereunder. Any balance due on a percentage
computation is to be paid immediately after the closing of the box office. Unless otherwise
approved, this final settlement will take place no later than sixty (60) minutes after the
completion of the musical event. At that time a ticket printer's manifest and a detailed
box office statement certified and signed by the PURCHASER is to be given to the
ARTIST'S representative. This statement is subject to the approval of ARTIST or
ARTIST’S representative.
b.
ARTIST'S representative shall have the irrevocable right to be present in the box office
prior to and during the ARTIST'S performance and any intermission periods, and such
representative shall be given full access to all box office sales and shall otherwise be
permitted to reasonably satisfy himself as to the gross receipts (and expenditures if
required) at each performance hereunder.
c.
All tickets are to be printed by a bonded ticket supplier and consecutively numbered.
With respect to counterfeit tickets, PURCHASER agrees that he is liable for any and all
counterfeit tickets, and under no circumstances is ARTIST to assume loss of income as a
result of such ticket.
d.
PURCHASER agrees to hold between ten (10) and twenty five (25) complimentary tickets
for ARTIST for each performance relative to venue size. These tickets must be of prime
location. Seats will be in the center, in rows 5-10 from the front of the stage. ARTIST or
ARTIST'S representative may return any unused portion of its complimentary tickets,
which shall then be placed on sale on the day of the performance.
ALL PAYMENTS ARE TO BE MADE AS PROVIDED HEREIN. IN THE EVENT PURCHASER FAILS
TO MAKE ANY PAYMENTS AT THE TIME STIPULATED HEREIN OR BREECHES ANY OTHER
PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT; ARTIST SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO WITHHOLD
PERFORMANCE WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO HIS RIGHTS HEREUNDER.
6.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
a.
In the event performance is canceled by PURCHASER for any other reason than an Act
of God, ARTIST is to be paid the contract fee in full. In the event of such cancellation,
ARTIST shall not be required to perform at any later time.
b.
ARTIST shall not be required to perform before any audience which is segregated on the
basis of race or creed, or where physical violence or injury to ARTIST is likely to occur,
nor where strikes or the threat thereof exists.
c.
No portion of the performance(s) nay be recorded, filmed, taped, broadcast or
mechanically reproduced in any form for the purpose of reproducing such performance(s)
without prior written consent from ARTIST or his Management. If any such unauthorized
recording is discovered during the ARTIST'S performance, ARTIST shall have the
irrevocable right to withhold performance without prejudice to his rights hereunder.
d.
PURCHASER agrees that there will be no signs, placards, banners or other commercial
advertising material on or near the stage during the performance(s) nor shall ARTIST'S
appearance be sponsored by or in any other way be tied with any commercial product or
company without consent of ARTIST or his Management. PURCHASER further agrees
that ARTIST’S name will not be used in association, directly or indirectly, with any

product or service without ARTIST'S prior written consent. ARTIST shall have to sole
and exclusive right, but not the obligation to sell or distribute shirts, souvenir button,
programs and other merchandise, etc., pertaining to the Artist in connection with, and at
the performance hereunder, and the receipts thereof shall belong exclusively to
ARTIST. PURCHASER is enjoined from selling or distributing any merchandise bearing
the likeness of ARTIST, any photograph recordings, or any other souvenir material at the
performance(s) hereunder without ARTIST'S written consent. PURCHASER further
agrees that he/she will not commit ARTIST to any personal appearance, interviews, or
any other type of promotion or appearance without the prior written consent of ARTIST.
e.
Cancellation privilege: PURCHASER agrees that ARTIST may cancel
engagement hereunder, without liability, by giving PURCHASER notice at least twentyone (21) days prior to the date of the engagement in the event that there has been
secured by ARTIST a commitment for a motion picture, television appearance, video
production, recording session, or an engagement in the State of Nevada, Lake Tahoe,
Atlantic City, or overseas, which could conflict with the engagement hereunder.
PURCHASER further agrees that ARTIST may terminate this agreement, at any time
prior to the engagement, if ARTIST shall die or become ill or incapacitated for any
reason. If this Agreement shall be canceled or terminated for any of the reasons referred
to in this paragraph, ARTIST shall promptly refund to PURCHASER any amount paid by
PURCHASER pursuant to this AGREEMENT and ARTIST shall not be liable to
PURCHASER for any other loss, damage or expense claimed to have been suffered by
PURCHASER as a result of such termination.
f.
In the event of breech by PURCHASER of any of the terms, covenants, or conditions of
this contract, ARTIST shall not be required to perform hereunder and PURCHASER shall
pay ARTIST the full amount of the contract fee as specified on the face of the contract.
g.
This agreement may not be changed, modified or altered except by an instrument in
writing, signed by the parties hereto. In the case of any conflict of terms, the terms
contained in this rider shall prevail.
h.
As headliner, ARTIST shall receive one hundred percent (100%) Sole Star Billing; or, as
the opening performer, Special Guest Star billing in any and all advertisements publicly
disseminated or displayed by PURCHASER in connection with this engagement;
including but not limited to radio/television advertising, newspapers, of performance.
The billing should read as follows:

In the event of any breech of this agreement by PURCHASER, ARTIST shall be entitled,
in addition to any remedies or rights specifically specified herein, to any equitable and/or
legal relief in any court of law or pursuant to any arbitration in accordance with the rules
of the American Federation of Musicians.
