CRUISERS RANGE 2017
THE
KINGS OF
CRUISING
There’s a specific Triumph DNA bred
into each bike. They need to look
right, sound right, feel right and
most importantly, ride right. That’s
where our renowned engineering
comes into play with responsive
handling, torque-rich engines,
legendary build quality and iconic
style. It all comes together to give
you that one-of-a-kind ride only
experienced on a Triumph.
From our stripped-back muscle
bikes to our heritage cruisers,
every motorcycle in our cruiser
range is at home either carving
a path through urban streets or
gliding along an open road.
And when it comes to turning heads,
our cruisers are crafted to add
their own unique flavor to our
long heritage of design classics.
But don’t just take our word for it,
take a look through the following
pages and discover why Triumph
is the king of cruisers.
ROCKET III ROADSTER
COLOSSAL,
IN A VERY BIG WAY
Combining menacing looks, extreme
performance, radical engineering
and a crowd-pulling presence, the
Triumph Rocket III Roadster is an
immense bull to grab by the horns
and blast down the boulevards.
And blast you will, with a fuel-injected
2.3 liter in-line triple heart that takes the
crown as the world’s largest production
motorcycle engine. It’s a power plant
with a broad spread of torque peaking
at a staggering 163 FT-lbs at just
2750rpm, providing instant power
and instant gratification in any gear.
But for all its intimating, arm-wrenching
thrills, this bull is a sheer joy to ride.
Yes, you have colossal acceleration,
but never at the expense of control,
with its refined chassis and suspension
ensuring every corner is handled with
surprising agility.
Throw in the dark, brooding styling
achieved through slashed pipes, staunch
muscular lines and a blacked-out look,
and the Triumph Rocket III Roadster
makes a statement in any crowd.
ROCKET III TOURING
THE BIGGER,
THE BETTER
Built for long hauls, heavy loads and
going places in undeniable style, the
Rocket III Touring is the gentle giant
that gets you there in ultimate comfort.
You’ll be traveling astride the world’s
largest production motorcycle engine,
a head-turning 2.3 liter, three-cylinder
heart – tuned for smooth, powerful yet
unintimidating acceleration. And thanks
to a low center of gravity and clever
chassis engineering, it’s refreshingly
agile and fluid.
There’s even more usable torque lower
down the rev range with 106Hp at
6000rpm and an incredible 150 FT-lbs
of torque at 2500rpm. It’s huge
performance with a powerful punch
delivered right where you want it.
Touring comfort is everything. It’s
why the Rocket III Touring comes
with a deeply soft 18” wide saddle,
spacious riding position, large
footboards, cavernous panniers
and the classic pulled-back bars.
Add it all up and you have only one
option when choosing your touring
companion – Go Large.
THUNDERBIRD STORM
A FORCE OF NATURE
The Thunderbird Storm’s tough, muscular
stance and blacked-out street-silhouette
aren’t just for show. They’re your first
clue to the thunderous, gut-wrenching
power that lies beneath.
With a 1700cc parallel-twin power plant,
the Storm doesn’t pull any punches. A
twist of the wrist and the hit of thrust
is immediate. Gobs of torque provide
outstanding low-down performance and
stomping acceleration delivered smoothly
through each gear. And along with all
that power, comes an addictively deep
growl emanating from the big-bore twin’s
beautiful dual chrome pipes, a sound that
must be heard to truly be appreciated.
But don’t let its dominating presence fool
you. When you need to hustle, the Storm
is ready with premium suspension and
a refined chassis delivering incredibly
svelte and sporty handling and feel.
A Storm is coming. Are you ready?
THUNDERBIRD LT
CRUISE BEYOND
THE HORIZON
Whether you’re after two-up touring or
going solo, the Thunderbird LT serves
up thousands of miles of sublimely
comfortable, laid-back fun.
Deeply padded seats, removable
windshield and generous footboards
are all welcome companions for any
long journey, while detachable leather
saddlebags with waterproof inners
make sure your kit arrives just as
happy as you.
Although the Thunderbird LT has a
laid-back vibe, its torque-laden 1700cc
parallel-twin is alive with effortless
roll-on power. It’s reassuring to know
there’s always phenomenal overtaking
power on tap, no matter the gear or
engine rpm. It’s an experience that’s
underpinned by sure-footed handling
and confidence-inspiring braking ability.
Such heart-thumping performance
is perfectly balanced with its
heart-stopping looks and beautiful
heritage styling cues. Wire-spoke
rims, acres of shimmering chrome,
hand-painted coach lines and the
world’s first white-walled radial tires
make it a feast for the eyes.
Your trip of a lifetime awaits.
