In August 1997, Delta RF Technology began manufacturing small inexpensive amplifiers specifically designed for the FM radio
broadcaster and Analog Television Broadcaster. We coined the term ‘pallet amplifier’ and have been designing and manufacturing
them ever since. Our mission statement:
To offer the highest quality & performance, lowest cost solution for our customer’s broadcast, communications, and
land mobile product needs. Our goal is nothing less than complete customer satisfaction by offering the most off the
shelf solutions and low cost production methods.
Now in our tenth year of business, we design and manufacture pallet amplifiers in our Reno, NV headquarters. In our vertically
manufacturing integrated facility, we design and manufacture our metalwork, printed circuit boards, and amplifiers in house. In this
manner, despite an extremely diverse product offering of over 170 standard amplifier products and accessories (and counting), we
offer the best value and availability of any amplifier manufacturer. With our ISO9001:2000† certification, you can rely on receiving the
highest quality product available. Our RoHS compliance program, scheduled for 2008 allows our European Union customers access
to all amplifiers for new designs.
Delta RF added military grade amplifiers to our product line, but our broadcast focus remains. New products aimed specifically at
broadcast television in digital formats, including DVB-T, DVB-H, ATSC are added to this catalog. We offer the first pallet amplifier
specifically designed for digital broadcast commercial radio - IBOC and DAB, and continue to add new products and services for
these markets. While we have manufactured combiners and splitters since our founding, this marks the first year that we include
these products in our catalog.
A sampling of our communications and specialty laboratory amplifiers are included in this catalog which are of specific interest to
broadcasters. Our complete product line includes high power amplifiers to 2.5GHz as well as additional accessories. Please consult
our website for all models available.
Pallet amplifiers are basic building blocks for any integrated RF amplifier or transmitter. Our engineering department reviews many
transistor choices before choosing the most cost effective, highest performance option. During the development of these products,
gain, reliability, stability, VSWR tolerance, linearity, efficiency are all balanced and tested at every phase. Linear testing includes
testing of actual television and / or radio signals and measurement under load conditions.
Pallet amplifiers may be operated by themselves, combined for higher power, or integrated into complicated systems. Our amplifiers
are designed for 50 ohm input and output impedance, and all are load mismatch tolerant.
Heatsinks with adequate airflow are required for proper operation and Delta RF Technology can assist in selection of the right
thermal solution. We offer standard heatsinks for most applications, and offer other components such as combiners, splitters, filters,
power supplies. We also offer standard options which include SMA connectors, power connectors, elevated screening, detailed test
data. Please consult our sales team for further information.
We offer complete amplifier integration. We will design and machine a custom amplifier enclosure and our engineering staff can add
a variety of functionality to any pallet amplifier including driver stages, splitters, combiners, filters, directional couplers. Our embedded control capability can add complete monitoring, control, and communications.

Silicon Valley Power Amplifiers continue to be manufactured by Delta RF Technology and are fully supported. These amplifiers are
OEM for Harris, Continental, and other transmitters. Four models in a variety of power levels are offered. All models feature
temperature protection, VSWR and Overpower protection, Overvoltage protection, and have an onboard input and output directional coupler. SVPA amplifiers feature an integral heatsink.

The Delta RF Technology line of High Power Pallet Amplifiers are designed for use with all worldwide broadcast
standards and formats - analog and digital, including DVB-T, DVB-H, ATSC, NTSC, PAL. Pallet amplifiers are easy
to integrate - heatsink, RF cables, and power are all that are required. All Pallets are designed for operation with 50
ohm systems - input and output. Only gold metallized LDMOS and MOSFET power transistors are used for maximum reliabliity. Over 10 years of design and manufacturing technology combine and result in the highest reliability,
lowest cost amplifiers available.
All amplifiers are designed to operate within typical integration conditions- combiners, filters and antenna loads.
Amplifiers are qualified at full power into a minimum of 3:1 VSWR, up to 5:1 VSWR. Through careful thermal design,
operation conditions allow ambient airflow of 50°C minimum, and on board temperature protection keeps amplifiers
safe. Thermal tracking bias prevents changes to operating conditions despite changing ambient temperatures.

offer broadband high power performance. With our large variety of drivers, we can
offer multiple stages in any of these frequency ranges.

house custom machining capabilities and can create any housing or mechanical
