 Installation in ATEX Zone 1, 21 and M2
The BARTEC BNT WLAN RB411ex Access Point is
designed to connect mobile wireless devices to a
wired network and supports the IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n
WiFi standard. The BNT WLAN RB411ex can also be
used as bridge to connect two or more networks to
each other.
 Power supply DC 18 to 28 V or
alternatively using PoE
 IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n
 Configuration by means of web interface
or configuration software
 Can be adjusted for operation
in the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band
 Security features: 64/128 bit WEP, TKIP
and AES CCM encryption, WPA, WPA2
 Configuration as access point or
bridge possible
The access point itself is based on the RB411AH
from Mikrotik and is fully compatible in terms of
The compact enclosure, its maximum performance,
flexibility and approval for potentially explosive
areas, combined with the possibility of operating
the device in the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band, are just
some of the advantages of the BARTEC BNT WLAN
The enclosure of the BNT WLAN RB411ex is protected to IP 64, requires no additional protective enclosure and may be directly assembled in a potentially
explosive area.
Selection of intrinsically safe antennas that are approved in conjunction with the BNT WLAN RB411ex
permit a high degree of flexibility during installation
and for different installations to be achieved indoors
and outdoors.
The security features implemented are all state of
the art and, combined with the enormous computing
power of the device, permit up-to-date data encryption.
The BNT WLAN RB411ex is configured using the
web interface or configuration software.
