It has two search modes: Standard Trash Elimination and Discrete Trash Elimination.

When turned on, the detector emits a number of audio tones indicating battery condition: three or more tones mean good batteries, two tones indicate adequate batteries, and one tone or no tone means battery replacement is needed.

It requires eight (8) AA batteries (high quality carbon-zinc, alkaline or rechargeable).

An 8" searchcoil (for general searching) and a 10 x 14" elliptical searchcoil (for larger targets and greater depth).

Remove the batteries immediately, rinse the compartment with fresh water, and let it air dry.
