Recommended Door:
• 1-3/8" or 1-3/4" thick
• Up to 200 lbs
(Carriage bolts and anchors for concrete installation also provided.)
Concrete Walls: If installing directly into concrete, use the provided concrete anchors and carriage bolts with washers. Unscrew to separate the carriage bolt and anchor to install correctly, securing with a wrench.
Recommended Tools:
• Electric drill
• Tape measure
• Level
• Phillips screwdriver
• Pencil
• Drill bits
• Wrench and socket set
• Router (only needed if prepping door)
WARNING:
Do not install track directly to drywall, as this surface cannot support the track. It is recommended that a header board (such as a 1x4 or 1x6 – not included) be installed above the opening and the track installed to it.
1
1. Install header board to wall
Trim header board (not included) to be at least as long as the track. Using interior screws (not included) install header board to wall studs. Install above opening on center at door height + 1-3/4", and at least 2" on one side of the wall opening. Make sure it is level. These measurements will allow for an approximate 3/8" gap under the door, but can be adjusted for your personal preference or installation.
NOTE: If installing an 80" tall door in a standard 80" tall opening, remove the top trim and cut the side trim horizontally along the height of the opening.
2. Install track to header board
Center track [ A] on header board (door height + 1-3/4", and at least 2" on one side of the wall opening). Once level, mark the mounting holes with a pencil and drill
1/4" pilot holes. Place spacers [ B] behind the track, and attach track using mounting bolts and washers [ C].
NOTE: While these illustrations show 4 mounting points, the same instructions apply if your track has more.
3. Prep door for floor guide (if needed)
NOTE: If using double floor guide, or door is pre-mortissed for single hidden guide, this step is not needed.
Using a router, mortise a 1/4" wide x 3/4" deep groove, centered on bottom edge of door.

4. Install hangers on door
Remove bolts from hanger [ D]. Place hanger parallel to side edge of door, at least 2" away. Align so the center of the first hanger hole is 1-1/2" from the top edge of the door. Mark the two holes with a pencil and drill 1/8" pilot holes, before drilling 3/8" holes. Secure hanger in place with bolts. If hanging 1-3/8" door, use bolts for thinner doors [ G], otherwise use original bolts [D].
Repeat on other side of door.

6. Place door on track

7. Install floor guide(s) to floor
Slide door into open position as far as it can go on the track. Measure 1/2" inside from inside edge of wall opening and mark a line on the floor. Center floor guide
[ H or J] on this line, and align with door. Attach guides to floor with supplied screws.
NOTE: If attaching guides to concrete floors, first drill
5/16" hole into concrete and install anchors before attaching with screws.

8. Install door stops on track
Slide door into closed position. It is recommended door overlaps wall opening by 1" on both sides. Install first door stop [ F] so that it touches the hanger, and tighten with allen wrench.
Slide door into open position. It is recommended door edge overlaps the opening by 1". Install second door stop in same manner.
NOTE: If a track mounting bolt prevents a door stop from sliding into proper position, remove the one bolt, slide door stop into place, and replace bolt.
