PRIORITY OF PLAYBACK

The line input takes priority over the

CD player while the cassette recorder takes priority over them both!

You cannot listen to more than one source at a time.

AMPLIFY MP3 PLAYER

Connect MP3 player headphone output to the line input socket.

Turn up MP3 player or 3330 volume as required.

For easy connection, use our

3.5mm connecting cable (part no. 1999).

CLEANING THE

CASSETTE HEADS

Capstan wheel

Record & playback head

Erase head

As cassette tape rubs across the playback and record heads, a brown deposit of loose particles may be left on the heads and capstan wheel.

Cheap low quality tape will do this very quickly!

A build up of deposit will reduce sound quality and lead to tapes being "chewed up".

With the machine switched on and the cassette door open, press play. This will move the heads up and engage the capstan wheel.

Impregnate a cotton wool stick with cassette head cleaner or a little methylated spirits.

Then gently wipe over the heads to remove the deposits (as illustrated left).

Be careful not to trap the cotton wool stick between the rollers when cleaning the capstan wheel. Allow the cassette heads and capstan head a chance to dry for a few minutes before playing cassettes.
