Security Access Trilock 50/60/75 Trilock 75RN Universal tripod security barrier The Trilock range of security barriers provides an effective means of controlling pedestrian access in almost any location. You will find the Trilock in many types of buildings and locations. Due to its versatile finishing possibilities it can be manufactured to match any surrounding. Simple and robust mechanism Simple and robust mechanisms and a wide range of operating parameters allow the Trilock to create an effective physical barrier to separate non-secured and secured areas. A choice of operating modes in each direction provides scope for single or two-direction control and a range of models is available to suit virtually any requirement. There are three Trilock ranges, from the cost and space efficient Trilock 50, through the high capacity Trilock 60, to the Trilock 75, our top of the range heavy duty model. Compact and highly reliable barrier All Trilock models are highly reliable space efficient security barriers, with a compact design, yet offer capacity to integrate an access control system, display, counter or token operation. The Trilock is simple to install, either directly onto the finished floor, mounted on walls or even on temporary portable floors. The Trilock is ideal for applications such as stadiums and arenas, recreation and amusement parks, retail crowd control, transit fare collection and lobby access control. Working principle Safety features The electrically controlled Trilock will allow access after authorisation from an access control system, coin acceptor or signal from an external control panel. The Trilock thereby ensures that only authorised people can enter from the public area to your controlled area. In case wheelchair entrance and passage with large luggage and trolleys is required, it is advised to combine the Trilock with a Winglock. Additional guide rails are available to complete a Trilock installation and prevent unauthorised passage. At Boon Edam we put safety first. Safety is an important issue when securing your entrance, as well as the possibility to keep your entrance available as an emergency exit. Once authorisation is given, the mechanism unlocks, allowing a single manual rotation of 120°. The self-centering arm positioning system and shock absorption system ensure precision working and a smooth passage. All versions of the Trilock are mechanical or electrically operated and can control the direction of traffic in one or two ways. The following working principles are available: • Free access: The Trilock is freely accessible from one or two sides. This working mode can be monitored with an optional mechanical counter. • Access closed mechanically: The Trilock is mechanically locked for passage in one direction or temporarily in two directions. • Access closed and electrically controlled: In this version, after authorisation, by a card reader, ticket reader or other authorisation system, the tripod mechanism will allow a rotation of 120° and relock. The Trilock is fail-secure, but can optionally be made fail-safe, disengaging the locked mechanism on a power failure or fire alarm activation. With a rigid tripod mechanism, the tripod will then freely rotate on a power cut. With a collapsible tripod mechanism, the horizontal arm will fall down on a power cut. If a fire alarm system is connected to the power supply of the Trilock, the fail-safe function can automatically be activated in an alarm situation. Versatile design The Trilock 50, 60 and 75 are robust products with similar working principles, however they differ in their application areas and design. The Trilock 50 has its tripod mechanism mounted on a pedestal. The compact cabinet of the Trilock 60 makes it simple to construct a multi-lane setup whereas the Trilock 75 is most flexible in design. Finishing The entire housing of the Trilock is finished as standard with carbon steel or stainless steel AISI 304. Powder coating in any RAL colour is available as an option. The three arms of the tripod mechanism are satin finished stainless steel. All internal components of the mechanism are cadmium plated to ensure long life. Trilock 50 series Our basic Trilock series is mechanically or electrically operated and either can be equipped with a mechanical counter. The mechanism housing can be wall mounted or mounted on a pedestal. Available models: • 50: mechanical, non-registering • 50R: mechanical, registering • 50E: electrical controlled, one-way • 50T: coin or token operated Construction • Mechanism housing constructed of 5 mm steel. • Mechanism housing cover constructed of 1.5 mm satin polished stainless steel covering all fasteners and moving parts. • Pedestal is constructed of 5 mm carbon steel, finished with a rust and wear resistant black powder coating. Trilock 50 Trilock 60 series Trilock 75 series The Trilock 60 is an attractively finished Trilock, suited for high volume, abusive conditions. Available models: • 60NRS: mechanical, non-registering • 60MS: mechanical, registering • 60E: electrical controlled, one or two way • 60T: coin or token operated For high volume abusive access control applications where an aesthetic barrier is preferred we designed the Trilock 75. This luxurious Trilock is available with straight or rounded ends to the cabinet. Electrical operation is capable of independently controlling two directions of traffic. Available models: • 75NRS: mechanical, non-registering • 75MS: mechanical, registering • 75ES: electrical controlled • 75MSRN: mechanical, rounded front and rear • 75ESRN: electrical controlled, rounded front and rear Construction • Cabinets in 1.5 mm stainless steel, AISI 304, polished to a satin finish or in 1.5 mm carbon steel, powder coated in any RAL color with a stainless steel top cover. • Two lockable access doors to reach anchoring and wiring. Construction • Standard cabinet constructed of 2 mm and 1.5 mm stainless steel, AISI 304, polished to a satin finish. • Heavy-duty modular “self-centering” mechanism ensures long-life and minimum maintenance. • Optionally cabinet in bronze or brass. Granite, marble and other stone tops are available. • The stainless steel or 25 mm synthetic top cover is locked with a concealed hinge allowing convenient access. • Two lockable access doors to reach anchoring and wiring.
