Frequently asked questions

The VRK and HRK rigging kits are designed to allow users to safely and securely rig multiple EVF and EVH loudspeaker systems together in various configurations, including horizontal and vertical clusters.

The rigging kits feature heavy-duty M10-1.5 threaded attachment points on each enclosure, along with M10 fasteners, washers, and stabilizer bars for added stability. They also have alpha-labeled rigging plates that provide ultimate flexibility for splay angles from 0° to 45° in 5° increments.

There are three types of rigging kits available: VRK-1 and HRK-1 kits for EVF full-range and low-frequency systems, VRK-2 and HRK-2 kits for clustering EVF systems to EVF subwoofers and EVH full-range systems, and VRK-3 and HRK-3 kits for clustering EVH systems and EVF subwoofers.

The number of systems that can be safely rigged together depends on the weight limits and possible cluster combinations, which can be found in section 6.0 of the EVF/EVH User Manual.

Loudspeakers should only be suspended overhead in accordance with the procedures and limitations specified in the EVF/EVH User Manual and possible manual update notices. Certified rigging hardware and an authorized rigging professional should be used for suspension, in compliance with local, state, and federal overhead suspension ordinances.
