HP-G Series meets the L.U. specification NR_PS_ELP_0007_ISS_3. Full customized system solution in order to meet every Customer’s request over the power protection field . Units are fully designed and manufactured in Italy since Y 2001 and the production process is fully compliant with ISO9001-2008. HOW IT WORKS NORMAL OPERATION The rectifier with input p isolation transformer converts input p AC mains into stabilized and filtered DC suitable to feed the inverter and recharge g the battery bank . The inverter is supplied from the rectifier and will reproduce a pure sinusoidal waveform that through the output isolation transformer and the static switch is feed into the load. LOSS OF INPUT POWER In the event of mains failure, the inverter will drain energy from the DC battery until the low DC threshold is reached or the mains input is restored. When the mains input is restored, the rectifier will provide the DC supply for the inverter and simultaneously recharging the battery. The critical load connected to the inverter and the critical DC load connected to the rectifier will not be affected during mains failure and restoring. BYPASS OPERATION The UPS is provided with a current sensing circuit which can detect overloads and sustain according with the specification overloads and output short circuits. The UPS current protection circuit causes the static switch to transfer the critical load to the bypass line without interruption . It is also possible to fit an isolation transformer and AVR in order to make bypass line clean and stable across mains fluctuations and disturbances. WHY USE IT LOAD SUPPLY IS SAFE AGAINST MAINS FAILURE HP-G Series provides a full load insulation by means of galvanic transformer , so where the load is likely to be affected by a very large variation on power supply, a transformer based UPS provides a safer and more reliable solution than transformer-less technology UPS . Also the output transformer provides a true protection under heavy inverter failure , stopping unwanted DC current flow to the critical load . For several critical applications ( i.e. oil & gas or health care ), redundancy on the rectifier side and on the inverter side is highly recommended in order to maximize MTBF and reduce the MTTR in case of failure. LOAD SECURITY AGAINST BATTERY AND RECTIFIER FAILURE Ups systems are developed to provide a proper care regarding backup battery blocks and ensure long life terms and proper recharging current and voltage level according to the environmental condition terms . This result in less maintenance on the unit and more availability of the system. MODULAR ARCHITECTURE UPS units systems can be manufactured with modular architecture, in order to fulfill the increase power demand on site , increasing reliability and availability of the output power supply used for critical loads . SOLUTION FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS Transformer-based devices are ideal for applications that experience heavily polluted mains supplies , particularly industrial, rural and complex infrastructure locations, such as hospitals, petroleum plants and airports.
