Advanced Algorithms
EC Technology
EC technology enables the F250 to detect lowcontrast images and deformed or partly defective
workpieces to a degree that was never before
possible. Its epoch-making inspection/positioning
algorithms use the direction of changes in
brightness and the difference in image brightness
to achieve ultra-precise detection.

QUEST Character Recognition
QUEST technology recognizes printed characters
correctly regardless of their size or shape. A builtin dictionary makes setup easier as well.

Printed characters used in production
lines, such as expiration dates and
lot numbers, can vary in shape, size,
and line width according to printing
methods and conditions. QUEST
Character Recognition ensures that
the following six types of variations
are always recognized correctly.
Various fonts used in FA applications are already registered in a built-in
dictionary. This makes dictionary and model registration unnecessary,
greatly reducing the amount of setup work required during installation.
