GHOSTING SNOW If your TV is located on the fringe area of a TV station, where the signal is weak, your picture may be affected by the appearance of small dots (SNOW). It may be necessary to install a stronger aerial to improve the picture. SNOW RADIO FREQUENCY INTERFERENCE This kind of interference produces moving ripples or diagonal streaks and in some cases loss of contrast in the picture. RADIO FREQUENCY INTERFERENCE 17 TELETEXT Most broadcasting stations offer a Teletext service in addition to their standard TV program. Teletext offers news, weather forecast, winning Lotto numbers, TV listings and other interesting news. The text is received page by page, as soon as you select the broadcasting station. The page will be displayed as soon as it is broadcast. Certain pages can be displayed more easily by pressing one of the FOUR COLOURED TELETEXT buttons. Basic operation 1 Select the broadcasting station, whose text you want to read. In order to do so, select the station's channel with the remote handset. 2 Push TEXT/MIX/TV button.
