Frequently asked questions

1. Ensure the surface it's placed on is level, install the platter and felt mat. 2. Connect the power supply and ensure voltage compliance. 3. Slip the anti-skating weight's thread over the stub groove. 4. Balance the tonearm and adjust downforce and anti-skating force. 5. Connect the record player to an amplifier using the tonearm signal lead. 6. Position the lid by adjusting the hinge screws.

Downforce adjustment: With the drive belt removed, motor running, and tonearm balanced, turn the counterweight to adjust the downforce according to the cartridge's recommendation. Anti-skating force adjustment: Refer to the table in the manual to set the correct anti-skating force based on cartridge mass.

Use the captive tonearm signal lead to connect the record player to the phono input (sometimes labeled gram, disc, or RIAA) on your amplifier. Ensure the channels are connected correctly (red for right, black/white for left).

With the aid of a magnifying glass, loosen the screw at the bearing end of the arm. Revolve the arm tube until the needle is vertical in the record groove. Tighten the screw again.

To play records at 45 rpm, remove the platter, use the hook tool to move the belt to the larger diameter part of the motor pulley, and reattach the platter. To revert to 33.33 rpm, repeat the process using the smaller step on the pulley.
