Features
The new LA12.2 line source system is raising the bar of standard
line array design by using XLC™ technology, a new proprietary front
load for the low and mid frequencies drivers.

Classical line source design dictates to use 3 way for a double 12inch, due to the relationship between dimensions and frequency
coupling.
By changing the wave front of mid frequencies, the XLC™
(eXtended Line Coupling) technology increase the limit of usable
mid frequencies and then eliminates the necessity of a specific 3rd
mid-range way.
XLC™ also increase the efficiency of mid frequencies and then offer
capabilities close to a 3 way standard system in a highly compact 2
way active cabinet.

The LA12.2 is an active two-way system, including two 12-inch (3"
voice coil) weatherproof XLC™ front loaded drivers and two 1.75inch voice coil compression drivers coupled to proprietary planar
wave guides for HF reproduction providing a 100° horizontal
coverage and 0° to 10° vertical coverage. As a full range system,
the frequency response shall be 55 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB).
The cabinet shall be installed using a dedicated rigging bumper and
accessories, it has been designed following the guidelines of BGVC1 (German standard for Audio Rigging).

The cabinet is finished in excellent black water-based textured paint
and the front of the cabinet shall be protected by 1.8 mm thick
acoustically transparent perforate steel with 0.5mm silk inside.
