Frequently asked questions

You can program the receiver manually or via radio. Manual programming requires pressing the programming button and the button of the transmitter channel you want to learn. Radio programming depends on the security level configured in the receiver's memory. Security level 1 (Basic) allows programming in invitation mode using a SMINN programming console. Security level 2 (Intermediate) allows transmitters already in use to invite new transmitters with the same PIN. Security level 3 (Advanced) only allows manual registration of emitters.

The internal memory can only be erased using an SMINN programming console and knowing its PIN. This prevents accidental or malicious erasures.

You can block a transmitter code in the memory using an SMINN programming console and knowing its PIN. This will prevent the code from working anymore.

The backup feature allows you to keep a backup of the memory card in case of breakdown or damages caused by external circumstances such as electric storms, theft, improper handling, etc.

The receiver can be easily fixed on a wall using the supplied wall plugs and screws. You should disconnect the power supply switch or differential before connecting or operating the device. The installation should be done by specialized and/or skilled personnel using properly protected cable of enough gauge. Take into account that devices permanently connected to the mains need to have an accessible connection device (i.e. a magnetothermic switch).
