OXYGEN Software
Oxygen breathes life into your DEWE2 system, turning it into
a turn-key instrument that’s ready to go to work in moments,
recording your important data.
A Modern, Solid Foundation
Oxygen is built on a foundation of modern programming tools
C/C++ and Python, and it’s developed to be completely crossplatform, supporting both Windows and Linux. Of course it’s a
64-bit application, because it’s up to date with the latest computing platforms and operating systems. You simply can’t rely on
outdated software programs written in archaic languages, which
only run on one OS, and which are stuck in the 32-bit past.
The Deja-View™ Advantage
Imagine that you’re running a test over several hours -- or days
-- or even WEEKS. When you were away there might have been
an event - or not. How can you know? Back in the chart recorder
days you could flip through the stack of paper, but with a computer based acquisition system, it’s nearly impossible to go back
through the data WITHOUT STOPPING RECORDING. But this is
exactly what Oxygen can do, and we call it Deja-VIEW. So even
while you’re still recording, without changing anything you can
simply stop any recorder graph, zoom out, and scroll back to the
beginning (or to any point) within the recording. Then zoom in
and look at anything, at any resolution. Meanwhile, recording is
still going on uninterrupted in the background. That’s the power
of Oxygen!
“Multi-touch” Operation
Oxygen was written from the beginning to support Multi-touch
operation, so just like you can pinch and zoom on your smartphone or tablet to make pictures larger or smaller, you can
operate on your data that way on the screen! This requires that
your DEWE2 hardware has a multi-touch screen either built-in
or connected to it, of course. In this mode you don’t even need
a keyboard, because one will pop up on the screen when you
touch a field that requires numeric or text entry.
BUT - if you’re more of a keyboard/mouse fan, we’ve got you
covered there, too. There are global selections that gear Oxygen
to desktop operation, instead of the multi-touch or touchscreen
usage. You can also suppress the on-screen keyboard if you prefer to use a real one.
Oxygen fully supports the setup and operation of your DEWE2
hardware, of course - including the TRION analog input modules, counters, timing, and digital input modules.

NItrogen Software
NItrogen connects your DEWE2 hardware to the wide world
of LabVIEW™ by National Instruments. It is available as a set
of easy to use VIs, or as a turn-key LabVIEW application. Both
are free of charge to you! But if you want to start with our
application and extend it to make your own, we also offer it
for sale with some hours of on-line support for your LabVIEW
developers.

With the D300 series we shrunk the form factor down to the smallest possible size without giving up power or performance.
The D300 holds 16 x MDAQ series DIFFERENTIAL signal conditioning channels, while the D303 has 8 channels of low voltage/
IEPE accelerometer inputs (expandable to 16). In addition, the internal ORION series A/D card provides synchronous counter/
encoder inputs, plus digital input and output lines, and two optional CAN BUS interfaces.
A 10” touchscreen display is built in, but there are also DVI and DisplayPort interfaces for connecting larger external monitors.
The power input is a wide range DC, which is perfect for mobile and in-vehicle applications. An AC adapter is also included.
The computer is the same powerful Intel i7 processor found in the other D series models made in the USA. There are two PCI
slots inside, which allows for one of our interface cards to be installed in addition to the ORION card, allowing you to add ARINC
429, MIL-STD-1553, or perhaps an analog OUTPUT card to your D300 system. Or we can install a second ORION card for highspeed channel expansion.

Channel Expansion: D303 - Adding FAST Channels
OPTION 1 - We install a second ORION-0824-200 card inside.
This increases from 8 to 16 fast ±10V/IEPE channels. 8 more
BNC connectors are installed on the side of the system.
OPTION 2 - D303 plus an external 8, 16 or 32 channel rack of

The modular rear panel allows so many possibilities
Configured for 32 DAQ/HSI/PAD modules....
The rear panel comes standard with a 16 slot rack
for isolated plug-in modules. But this still leaves
2.5U of height, so a second rack with 16 more
slots can be factory installed!
This picture shows a second rack installed.
This is the only Dewetron all-in-one system that
can accept 32 isolated plug-in modules!
Alternatively, this space can be used for other
things, such as MDAQ conditioners (as shown
below), or special function panels for counter
expansion, analog outputs, and more.

Flexible Rear Panel Configurations
The rear panel of the D510 is configured as standard with
a rack that can hold 16 of our plug-in DAQ /PAD/HSI modules. We can install a second rack for another 16 slots. In
either configuration there are available slots for either
MDAQs or function panels.
The D511 is configured specifically for MDAQ conditioners.
With MDAQ-SUB-D: up to 64 channels can be installed.
With MDAQ-SUB-BNC: up to 96 channels can be installed.
Alternatively, a broad variety of function panels can be
installed.

Convertible Between Benchtop and Rack-mounting Use
The D510/D511 is our only all-in-one system that was designed specifically to be easily converted back and forth between rackmounting and benchtop use. The 510-RACK kit can be installed or removed in less than 10 minutes.
Built-in Keyboard - Just Slide it!
We know you need a keyboard and
touchpad, so we built one right into the
mainframe. You can simply slide it out
when you need it, and slide it back flush
with the front panel when you don’t.
That’s DEWETRON convenience.
Removable Drives - Nothing Internal
All D series models are made in the USA, and they all feature ONLY removable
drives. We use a dual bay carrier that actually holds two 2.5” drives. As a
standard we install a 500 GB removable hard drive for data, and a 120 GB
removable SSD for Windows & applications. Removable drives are critical for
applications involving classified data. There’s even an optional second dual-bay
that can be installed on the rear panel, for a total of four removable drives in
the system (HDD, SDD, or any combination).
Up to 32 DAQ/PAD/HSI Modules Can Be Installed
The D510 is the only DEWETRON all-in-one system that can be configured with 16 or 32 DAQ /PAD/HSI series plug-in modules.
The D510 can also be configured with 16 slots plus up to 32 MDAQ input channels, for 48 total dynamic channels. The flexible,
modular rear panel design makes this possible.
