ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION
PROTECTION FOR NON-WARRANTED DAMAGE*
According to data gathered by Lenovo’s mobile repairs, most users will experience damage not
covered by standard warranties within the first three years of their PC’s life cycle.
Lenovo’s Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) gives you the peace of mind to know your
investment and budget are protected from the hassles of unexpected repairs and expenses,
providing coverage for accidents and damages beyond the system warranty*.
PREDICTABLE BUDGETS
QUALITY ASSURANCE
A single, upfront investment allows accurate prediction of
yearly system repair costs.
Lenovo’s comprehensive diagnostic tools can identify
hidden damage that may have otherwise gone untreated.
COMPREHENSIVE REPAIRS
SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS
ADP is performed by Lenovo-Trained technicians, using
Lenovo-Qualified parts.
ADP delivers significant savings between 28-80% relative
to the cost of repairs or a new system.
DID YOU KNOW?
Standard warranty terms and conditions don’t cover accidental damage. With Lenovo’s Accidental Damage Protection,
however, your system is protected from the unexpected.
Through our global network of repair centres, PCs are repaired by Lenovo-Certified technicians using Lenovo-Qualified parts. If
it is not damaged beyond repair, the end user’s PC is returned, and if repair is not possible, the entire system will be replaced at
no additional charge1.
WHAT’S TYPICALLY COVERED?2
Accidental drops, spills, bumps, and structural failures incurred under normal operating conditions or handling, including
electrical surges and damage to the integrated LCD screen. If you have Onsite Warranty coverage, you may qualify for Onsite
ADP repairs3. ADP is available on selected devices only, find out more at www.lenovo.com/MY5.
Examples:
• Your system falls off a table, which damages the screen.
• An electrical surge damages your PC’s hardware during a lightning storm.
• Coffee is spilled on the keyboard and the extent of damage is unknown.
WHAT’S NOT COVERED?
Cosmetic damage4, equipment loss or failures due to usage outside of normal operating conditions. Any data loss or
interruption of business, intentional damage and misuse, removal or alteration of parts, accessories, theft, damage from fires,
damages to peripherals or third-party products, even if sold by Lenovo.
Examples:
• The outer case is cracked but your system still operates effectively.
• The PC was stolen or used in the rain, resulting in lost data or productivity.
• The stylus or battery was misplaced.
