Description
The most common type of beam expander is derived from the Galilean telescope which usually has one negative input lens and one positive output lens.
The input lens presents a virtual beam focus at the output. For low expansion ratios (1.3 - 20 times) the Galilean telescope is most often employed due to
its simplicity, small package size and low cost.
We offer beam expander made from two, three, or more spherical lens made from BK7, FS, UVFS or other glass.

piShaper’s are telescopic or collimator optical systems that transform Gaussian intensity distribution of source laser beam to a flattop one;
the development technology lets it possible to realize other output intensity profiles, systems with optical power, i.e. of objective or collimator type;
Achromatic design provdes this transformation for a certain wavelength range;
Galilean design, thus there are no intermediate focusing of a beam;
With changing the size of input beam the output beam profile changes as well, see an example;
When changing the shape of input beam it is possible to adapt the piShaper to provide flattop output profile, this adaptation is realized
through changing the diameter of source beam; an example of this adaptation is presented.
Laser Beam Shaping Systems for Micromachining Applications: The best choice for manipulation of focused beam is Focal-piShaper_xxx. “Flattop”,
“donut”, “Inverse Gauss”, “Trident”, “Roof” and other shapes can be created in zone of focus of any diffraction limited lens.

piShaper produces a collimated flat-top beam over a large working distance. With this unique tools it is possible to convert a Gaussian laser beam into a
collimated flattop (or top-hat) beam with nearly 100% efficiency.
A main benefit from using piShaper is saving of laser energy that is very important in many laser applications, especially in material processing. The
problem is that Gauss intensity distribution isn’t an optimum one in many cases. For example, while materials treating a great part of energy concentrated
far from a middle of TEMoo laser beam is not used to get a proper treating effect, most often it is considered as a loss of energy. From this point of view
evaluation of the efficiency of using laser energy has a great importance.

Description
The Autocorrelator is nonlinear optical device, which measures temporal pulse shape in real time of single ultrashort light pulse with duration from 50
fs to 40 ps. The method used in the Autocorrelator is based on the noncollinear second harmonic (SH) generation, where the spatial distribution of the SH
light contains information on the time behavior of the fundamental light pulse. This technique combines the zero background and the single-shot measurement capability. For immediate observation of pulse duration it is convenient to use the photodiode array.
The Autocorrelator can be used with many of today’s ultrashort pulse lasers. The Autocorrelator can be constructed for temporal shape measurements
of the pulses with duration down to 30 fs in spectral range from 523 nm to 1400 nm and with lower temporal resolution in spectral range up to 4000 nm.

Fast Pulse Picker for femtosecond Laser Amplifier and Synchromesh SISK devices were created for femtosecond micromachining system. Micromachining system consists of various devices which must be synchronized in time, i.e. femtosecond laser and moving table with sample.
Fast Pulse Picker is intended for electronic pulses control/delay in two
Synchromesh SISK is intended to count pulses and allows to synchronize
channels. This device is used to control injection & ejection triggers of a

regenerative amplifier for optimized operation. It also enables to com-

Description
Air and Water-cooled Beam Dumps are designed to block CW or a pulsed laser beam.
Beam Dump 10BD01 is designed to block a CW or a pulsed laser beam. It can be used on beams of up to 50 Watts in the wavelength range from 0.1 to 30
m. The design is such, that, even if the non-reflective coating is damaged by high intensity pulses, there’s no backward reflection.
Water-cooled Beam Dump 10BDWC01-2. Beam Dump 10BDWC01 blocks a CW or a pulsed laser beam. It is mainly intended for beams 2 inch wide.
Water absorbs much energy. So, the beam dump is best suited for laser beams of over 50 Watts. The wavelength range is from 0.1 to 30 m. Even if the
non-reflective coating is damaged by high intensity pulses, the laser beam is not reflected back into your optical scheme. Laser beam dump mounts on an
M6 hole on its back.

A visualizer provides luminescent conversion of the invisible IR and UV light to the red, the dependence of the luminescent emission intensity on the
visualized light intensity is nonlinear.
Currently we are offering 4 types of visualizers:
1) UVIRV model of Visualizer is intended for visualization of IR and UV coherent and incoherent radiation both from laser and other type-light sources.
Visualizer requires no electrical power supply. It is an ecologically-safe ceramic tablet made of rare-earth element compounds.
2) IRV model of visualizer is designed for conversion of near IR radiation of pulsed and CW lasers to visible green light.
The material of visualizer is special ceramic with anti-stokes luminophores.
3) UVIRV-IRV Twin model combines two models (1 and 2) in one visualizer for your convenience. One side of the visualizer is for UV-IRV visualization
(emitting red color) and the other side is for IRV visualization (emitting green color)

irreversible damage to retina or cornea. Take advantage of our professional anti-laser spectacles and goggles. They are comfortable and absolutely safe (if
selected properly).
Selecting Appropriate Laser Eye Protection
The choice of the most suitable safety spectacles goggles must be done in compliance with standard EN 166, EN 207 and EN 208. The use of unsuitable
eye-wear is one of the most frequent causes of eye injury. So, please, consider the following as a guide. For a correct judgement of optical hazards, it is
important to know some fundamental parameters defined in the standards of eye-protection against laser radiation.
• Laser wavelength. Determine all wavelengths to protect against with one pair of glasses
• Output parameters. For continuous wave lasers check the maximum output power and beam diameter to calculate the power density (W/m2).For
pulsed lasers determine the maximum energy, the beam diameter, and the frequency (if applicable) to calculate the energy density (J/m2) or power density
• Spectral transmittance and optical density. Spectral transmittance is the ratio between the power (or energy) transmitted by the filter and the incident
power. Find recommended minimum power (or energy) density value that the protection filter must comply with in the standard EN 166, EN 207 or EN 208
tables - the closest greater value to your calculation. Optical density relates to transmission by equation: D = -log10 T.
