Choose an appropriate Wi-Fi
connection method, then go to

You can listen to music stored in your
smartphone/iPhone with SongPal (free
app).
Use a wireless router with a WPS (AOSS)
button to configure the Wi-Fi settings of
the system with a push of the button.

Smartphone / iPhone
You can listen to music content from the
Google Cast™-enabled app on your
smartphone/iPhone.
Use a smartphone/iPhone in which
SongPal (free app) is installed to configure
the Wi-Fi settings of the system.

 Connecting the system to your Wi-Fi network
Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS)
A Wi-Fi network enables you to
easily enjoy music stored in
wireless devices in your home
Other playback
Using a Wi-Fi network, you can play music
from online music streaming services, or play
the music stored on your computer or
smartphone/iPhone, in high quality sound.
Also, you can enjoy the music in multiple
rooms at the same time.
Choose one of the procedures below.
Required item: Wireless router with the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) button

Press the  (power) button to turn on the system.
When the system is on, the power indicator lights up in green.

Touch and hold WPS key on the unit until the NETWORK
indicator flashes in white.

Within 90 seconds, press the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) button of the router.
When the NETWORK indicator lights up in white, the Wi-Fi network connection is complete.
Depending on the wireless router, press and hold
the WPS button for a few seconds. For details, refer
to the operating instructions of your router.
** The WPS button may be called “AOSS button” depending
on the wireless router.

Smartphone / iPhone
Required item: Android smartphone/iPhone and wireless router
Use a smartphone/iPhone in which SongPal is installed to configure Wi-Fi settings of the system.
Install SongPal onto your smartphone/iPhone. Follow the application’s on-screen instructions to connect the system to a Wi-Fi
network.
Search for SongPal on Google
Play™ or the App Store
Check in advance
•• Turn on the BLUETOOTH function on your smartphone/iPhone, then connect it to this system via BLUETOOTH.
•• Some wireless routers have multiple SSIDs. Connect the system and your smartphone/iPhone to the same SSID.

Installing SongPal and selecting the system

Install SongPal onto your smartphone/iPhone.
Search for SongPal on Google Play™
or the App Store
Explains how to listen to music stored in your PC or other
device over your Wi-Fi network.
If SongPal is already installed, start from step 2.

Tap and start up [SongPal] on your
smartphone/iPhone.
Operating Instructions (separate document)
Explains how to listen to music stored on a disc, USB device,
BLUETOOTH device or radio, etc.
When the screen below is displayed, touch
[MHC-V77DW].
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Some settings that are configured here apply also
to Google Cast-enabled apps.

Adjust the volume.
If a Google Cast-enabled app is already installed, go to step 2. If you have not
set Google Cast, follow the procedure below.
Start the installed app.
Select a song to play.
Set up Google Cast by using SongPal.
Touch [Settings] on SongPal.
Start the app, then select a song to play.

Touch the Cast icon, and then select
[MHC-V77DW].

Start playback on the app, and adjust the volume.
Touch [Google Cast].
Touch [Learn how to Cast].
Check how to use the cast service and which apps are available, and then
select an app to install it.

You can listen to music stored on your Xperia by operating
the Music app. You can listen to music stored in your PC
with the system by using the software Media Go.
You can listen to your favorite music with various styles by wireless speaker combinations.

stereo sound.
Wireless Stereo can be used after you update the
software of the system.
