How To: Clean the ecoUrinal™ Daily
PROCEDURE
1 Remove debris from urinal basin using the Rubbermaid HYGEN™ microfiber cloth.
2 Spray down surfaces with cleaning solution including both the inner and outer areas.
3 Wipe all surfaces clean using Rubbermaid HYGEN™ microfiber cloth.

• Only use cleaners with pH levels between 7 to 12.5.
• Spray Bottle
• Commercial Sanitary Disinfectant
• Rubber Gloves
• Follow sanitary application directions closely.
• Use 8-sided fold approach to ensure maximum
effectiveness with Rubbermaid HYGEN.™
CAUTIONS
• DO
NOT use acidic based cleaners or solvents.
Neutral based cleaners, or cleaners with pH
levels 7 to 12.5 are highly recommended.
How To: Clean the ecoUrinal™ Monthly
PROCEDURE
1 Fill bucket with 3 gallons of warm water.
2 Pour water directly into urinal fixture.
3 Remove cartridge cap using cartridge tool (#4870053) by turning counterclockwise.
4 Pour desired amount of bio/enzymatic cleaning solution directly into cartridge.
5 Insert 1 enzyme tablet.
6 Return cartridge cap and tighten using cartridge tool by turning clockwise.

the cartridge before the enzyme tablet

emove Cartridge from
Urinal Fixture
PROCEDURE
1 Insert cartridge tool (#4870053) and lock in place by turning clockwise.
2 Simultaneously rock cartridge side-to-side while pulling upward.

OPTIONAL PROCEDURE
1) To clean urinal trap-way, apply cleaning solution to urinal trap-way with cartridge removed.
2) Scrub trap-way using cleaning brush.
3) Insert cartridge, with P-Trap in the 12 o’clock position, and tap edges until cartridge is
firmly in place.

• Cartridge Tool
• Rubber Gloves
• Toilet Brush (FG632000)
TIPS
• If cartridge is in tight, apply liquid
calcium dissolver around the outside
edge and tap with a rubber hammer
if needed.
• Let sit for a few minutes, and then
proceed to removing cartridge
following Step 2.
