YORKVILLE YS1036 is an all-tube guitar amplifier head designed for maximum versatility and featuring vintage tube circuitry for an ultimate tone and trouble free performance. It's simple to operate and provides great flexibility with an array of tone sculpting options like Scoop, Bright and Modern voicing switches, Resonance and Presence controls, and a Solo Boost knob. The YCS100 output stage can be operated in either 100-watt or 30-watt modes: 100-watt (Class AB) mode that will produce a full 100-watts of output power, or 30-watt (Class A) mode that cuts the operating voltage to the output tubes in half, adjust the bias level, and will provide more tube warmth at lower volume levels.

Frequently asked questions

The YCS100 output stage can be operated in either 100-watt or 30-watt modes. To switch between modes, simply turn the power switch to the "Standby" position, then flip the "Power" switch to the "Off" position. Wait a few seconds, then flip the "Power" switch back to the "On" position and the amplifier will be in 30-watt mode. To switch back to 100-watt mode, simply repeat the process.

The Solo Boost knob allows you to add an extra boost of volume to your solos. This can be useful for cutting through the mix or for adding a bit of extra sustain to your lead playing.

The Vintage and Modern voicing switches change the tone control range of the amplifier. The Vintage setting provides a more traditional tube amp sound, while the Modern setting provides a more aggressive, high-gain sound.

To clean the amplifier, simply wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or cleaners, as these could damage the finish of the amplifier.

The amplifier comes with a 2-year unlimited, transferable warranty (valid in the USA and Canada only).
