This product is for professional use only and has been designed for indoor use. The LFX Master is intended for operation with tungsten lamps only. The safety symbol in this manual is shown to the right. WARNING It is important to read ALL safety and installation instructions to avoid any damage to the product and potential injury to yourself and others. Only use this product if all cables, connectors and the product itself are undamaged. The device must be used in accordance with local regulations only. Do not operate the product if the ambient temperature exceeds 40°C / 104°F. The LFX Master might become hot during operation. The temperature of the enclosure might exceed 48°C. Please keep away the LFX Master from inflammable materials. Maintain a distance of at least 30 cm (12 inch) all around to inflammable material. Please make sure the environment of operation provides a sufficient cool air flow. The maximum output load must not exceed 2.3 KW @ 230 VAC. High voltage might be present even when the main fuse is removed or blown! Ensure that the device is electrically connected to ground (earth). Exposure to moisture may cause damage to the product and will void your warranty. Damage caused by inadequate cleaning or maintenance is not covered by the product warranty. Before a bulb of a connected lamp will be changed make sure the LFX Master is unplugged from the mains power and make sure the lamp is disconnected from the LFX Master! You must inform your local fire department before you create artificial fire lighting effects using the LFX Master! SERVICE Servicing is to be performed only by qualified personnel. Take precautions to avoid ESD damage during service. Disconnect the power before servicing the product. Each pattern has a resolution of 24 fps with 60 second loop. For that reason effects generated by the LFX Master looks natural. Recommended default values Preset Description Fire Simulates an effect of a fireplace 60% 35% Candle TV Simulates an effect of a candle, lantern Simulates projection of a TV set, a composition with "cuts" and "pans" 55% 50% Strobe symmetric rectangular sequencer (0.3...28 secs) 70% Speed Max dim Min dim 50% any 40% 0 Modify the values as you like depending on the style and brightness required. Power output The LFX Master is equipped with a universal power supply for mains voltages from 100 VAC up to 240 VAC and an internal dimmer. The internal 10 Amp dimmer autodetects the mains frequency for 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The dim control setting thus are adopted to the used mains power automatically. It means it´s easy to drive the LFX Master within every power network worldwide without changing any settings. The maximum dimmer output power is always referred to 10 Amps for every mains power. Worldwide use with mains autodetect Green status LED Mains supply max. output power @ 230 VAC 50 or 60 Hz 2.3 kW @ 110 VAC 50 or 60 Hz 1.1 kW The LED on the rear panel signals a succussfull mains detection. Basic conditions for operation 1. The device, especially the power cord, has no damages. 2. The operation voltage of the LFXHub is 100 - 240 VAC @50/60 Hz 3. The built-in main fuse is not blown. In case of a malfunction of the LFX Master the additional internal fuse of the power supply could have been triggered. This internal fuse is self resetting. Please power off and wait 10 minutes and try again.
