The Find-me Tunstall Carers Watch (FM1000) is NOT a life saving device. It is a locator unit that functions off mobile and cellular network activity as outlined in this manual. Neither Find-me technologies or Tunstall accepts responsibility or liability for a unit being unable to be located due to and not limited to events such as network unavailability, unit malfunction, battery life, submersion in water and user misuse. Acceptance of these terms is a condition of its use.

Images displayed in this manual are for illustration purposes only and may differ from actual product.

GENERAL CARE

The Carers Watch can be cleaned using a light spray of water and cloth.

Please do not use heavy detergents or chemicals on the Carers Watch as this may damage the watch and void the warranty.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

The Find-me Tunstall Carers Watch has a rechargeable battery that can be charged at any time.

If the magnetic charger does not ‘click’ in, rotate the watch slightly until it does.

Attach the magnetic charger to the power pack using the supplied cable, plug into an electrical power point, and turn on at the wall. The watch will display the percentage of battery charge.

To get the most out of your watch ensure you only use the certified power adapter and charger supplied with your Carers Watch.

Please ensure your charger is plugged in to an electrical power point where it cannot come into contact with water or other liquids.

Your Carers Watch will take around 2 hours to fully charge. Do not leave your watch on the charger longer than 72 hours as this may damage the watch and/or battery.

Purchase a micro size SIM on a SIM only plan including at least 10 minutes of talk time, 100Mb data and 50+ SMS per month. Tunstall recommends you purchase a SIM on the Telstra network for greater coverage across Australia.

Step 2. Insert your SIM

Ensure the watch is turned off. Open the back base plate of the watch using the provided watch opening tool to press down and turn counter-clockwise, following the arrow. Turn the SIM holder cover then lift to remove. Inside is the SIM holder - slide this and hinge upwards. Insert the

SIM with the gold contacts facing downwards, and reverse the process to close the back plate.

Step 3. Charge and turn the watch on (refer to pages 8-10)

Step 4. Register your watch

Your watch must be registered with Tunstall prior to use. Email [email protected] with the client name, SIM mobile number and SIM provider. On receipt of registration confirmation, login to the Find-Me Tunstall website using the details provided (see page 24).

Set authorised contacts

Add your authorised contacts by entering their name, mobile number and email address, then select Add New Contact. By ticking the relevant boxes, you can choose which contacts receive an SMS, email and/or map link to the wearers location when the emergency button is activated.

Up to 2 authorised contacts can be added.

Step 5. Customise watch settings

Click the Settings button from the Main Menu of the Find-me tracking portal. In the settings screen you can program:

• A mobile number for the watch to call when the emergency button is activated.

• Watch speaker volume.

• Safe zone, to raise an alert when the wearer leaves a specified area.

• Speed alert, to raise an alert if the wearer is travelling over a set speed.

• Destination alert, to advise when the wearer reaches a programmed destination.

• Fall alert, to automatically generate an alert on detection of falls.

After each change, you must click on the Update button. The watch will respond with a text window confirming receipt of the command. Click OK.

Step 6. Test the watch

Have your authorised contacts confirm your location details from the

Find-me Tunstall website. Your authorised contacts will need to use your login details.
