Allen-Bradley 2030 Pneumatic Isolation Module Installation Instructions

Allen-Bradley 2030 Pneumatic Isolation Module is a component in a safety system that helps provide isolation of pneumatic energy to the machine or process. When an RLS is switched to the OFF position, the module exhausts through the muffler on the module. The module is designed for use with only the ElectroGuard® Safety Isolation System manufactured by Rockwell Automation. It is equipped with inlet and outlet air fittings, a muffler, and a check valve. The module also has an electrical connector (HC) that interfaces signals between the module and the ElectroGuard® Power Panel.

Frequently asked questions

The Pneumatic Isolation Module helps provide isolation of pneumatic energy to the machine or process, ensuring safety during operation.

When the RLS is switched OFF, the Pneumatic Isolation Module exhausts residual air pressure through the muffler on the module.

The module requires two hard-piped connections: one to the air inlet fitting and the other to the air outlet fitting.

The cable must be #14 AWG for distances < 500 ft or #16 AWG for distances < 300 ft. It should have copper conductors, 600V insulation, be oil resistant, have color-coded conductors, and a shield with a drain wire.
